Eros'S POV

Georgette was absolutely pretty. Yes, she was. I had known her since childhood. I had known that she was to be 'my' queen but she wasn't Aduke. Aduke was beautiful and enchanting. I didn't want Georgette after I knew Aduke.

Obsession. She was my obsession and she didn't even know it.

It had been one torturous month since I had set my eyes on Aduke. A fucking month since my dreams had been my solace.

I wished I could blame it on my mother, I really did but it was all me. I was greedy and I was chasing the wrong thing. With her, I already felt like a king and I didn't really need a throne but now that I was so close to having what I thought I wanted, I felt like the entire world was against me.

The way her pearly whites shone whenever she laughed or the way she narrowed her eyes when she was angry at me.

Goddamn,?I missed that.

Georgette had nothing on Aduke and I was beginning to ask my self why I went on this dinner with her.
