Noah seemed taken aback, too, that he didn't refute it right away. My eyes wandered between them, gradually noticing the atmosphere was getting awkward.
"Hahaha, you two have never formally met before, right? This is Noah, a friend of ours. Noah, this is Lukas." I jumped in, referring them to each other to ease the tension.
Noah simply smiled politely. "It's a pleasure to finally meet his grace."
Lukas just furrowed his brows slightly, so then I grabbed Lukas' arm and tugged him to the side. "Anyway, where's your horse?"
Lukas looked at me while I blinked at him, letting himself be dragged by me.
'Get the message already!'

"I don't have a horse."
