Zane stared Pluto in the eyes. The Rank 5 Anunnaki had both a strength and height advantage over Zane. If they were going to fight, then Zane would have to play it smart.
Zane had only gotten a week to improve his strength as a half-Apocrypha. Due to this, his development was rushed and he hadn't perfected all the skillsets of his newly found strength.
Zane wasn't blinded that he was no match for Pluto. He knew he didn't stand a chance against a Rank 5 Apocrypha such as Hades— at least not yet. Pluto— being a Rank 5 Anunnaki, was no exception either.
Pluto was also aware of this fact. This is why he had given Zane a handicap.
"In this fight, you don't have to subdue or kill me. If you can inflict as much a scratch on me, then you win. Are those rules okay with you?" Inquired Pluto.
Normally, Zane would act smug and taunt the Anunnaki. However, he knew better than to push his luck this time around.

Shameless promoting here, lol. If you're interested in fantasy, then go support my other book The Mind World And The Outcast Hero. I've been revamping the chapters lately. It's a good read in my opinion.
