As if time stopped ticking, all the sounds vanished and not even a breathing was heard. Caught off guard, he was stunned silly at the unexpected presence and could only gawked when Ouyang Xueqing freed the little girl from his hold and lowered her gently on the ground.

Realizing that she had just been rescued, the little girl's shoulder shook tremendously and her tears burst out like a dam. Her wail broke them out of their reverie and all of their eyes fell simultaneously on Ouyang Xueqing.

The man's face reddened and his eyes bulged out menacingly.

Ouyang Xueqing yawned and picked her ears in a dull manner. She missed her soft bed very much and her stomach started growling as she had just eaten a few buns for the whole day.
