Capítulo 54: Chapter fifty-three

Lucas walked into the club looking to see his boss but was told she has yet to show up. Next, he went in to check in on the hostage only to find out she wasn't there, on further questioning of the guys left in charge he heard the most absurd story of his life.

"What do you mean she took her home, " he yelled on top of his voices. His front vein throbbing from the intensity of his rage. 

The two men looked down not knowing what to say. It wasn't as if they could have stopped their boss from leaving the girl. Them too have been confused as to why the boss took the girl home.

Lucas looking at the men realized that it was no use screaming at them, there was little they could have done to stop Jada last night.

What was she thinking going home with the hostage, Lucas murmured to himself as he took the basement stairs three at a time, all his focus on the confrontation he was going to have with his boss.
