ASTRID stepped into Ellis's car, having just finished his afternoon class. Ellis was there to pick him up because they needed to go to the company for an important meeting. Director McCann had called Ellis the previous night, asking if they could meet over the weekend. However, since Astrid was scheduled to leave the next day, they decided to move the meeting to today.
