Capítulo 94: Finding The Killer

I spent every waking moment trying to find Nuri's killer. I slept, ate, and breathed my research because it was the only thing keeping me sane. Along with Wesley, who stood by my side now more than ever. He was still punished for going behind the packs back but his parents understood I needed a friend more than ever now.

Lauren had tried speaking to me on multiple occasions. She'd put on her fake sad face trying to force some tears out.

"I really wanted to go to Nuri's funeral... I just... couldn't" she had told me which was utter bullshit. There was no excuse as to why she would purposely miss her best friend's funeral.

I don't even think she had regarded Nuri as her friend at all. I was starting to realize Nuri had been my only true friend. She had always been there to help me through tough times. I was so grateful that I still had her with me even if she wasn't completely human anymore.
