Chloe, who liked to see how far Oscar's patience would go, was satisfied when she watched her siblings walk away. She knew that he couldn't stay hostile to her for long, and if she could guess, Chloe would say that Oscar would call her by phone the next morning.
The two women watched Oscar get back into his car which was parked not far from them. Instead of leaving immediately as they had imagined, Oscar just remained in the car, as if waiting for Lisa to come over to him.
"I swear he's really acting like a kid now," Chloe grumbled in disbelief. She turned and saw Lisa with a sweet smile, their hands still holding tightly. "You go home, it looks like Oscar is waiting for you in the car. Calm him down or something, I don't know why he's still cranky at his age…"
Lisa imitated Chloe's smile and nodded her head, "I'll go home first. When will we go out like this again? I'll show you good places to eat around the town."
