"You said you're already healthy?"
William's face instantly looked guilty and panicked. Lisa knew that William, or should she say all children, was actually afraid of having to be taken to the doctor. So the boy must have tricked his parents into not taking him to the doctor.
Lisa smiled broadly then raised her hand, "Here, let Mama check your temperature first."
"Don't want to!" William replied quickly. Even though the boy was still sitting on the chair, his body recoiled backwards.
"Come on, let Mama..."
"I don't want to!"
Lisa sighed and quickly got up from the chair. There was no other choice but to come forward and touch the boy's forehead. Lisa held William's back neck so he wouldn't move much and touched his forehead.
"It's not that hot?" She said while flicking William's sharp nose. The woman sat back on the dining table chair. "That's why you don't want to have your temperature checked huh?"
