Although had been dating for two months now, James was the first to say the three-worded phrase. 

Even in a dark time, Emma couldn't lie, she was ecstatic about it. 

Emma burst out into a grin, before she replied with a sweet, "I love you too, James." 

Maybe it was time that stopped when his lips met hers, but the feeling that came every time they kissed returned. Emma's heart pounded in her chest as her knees could only get weaker and weaker.
