"So…how do you intend to tell him?" Lily asked curiously, now that the mood had improved greatly. 

As said, Emma accepted what happened, and she was trying her best to fix what was going on in her life.

Emma shrugged. 

"I don't even know," she admitted as she wondered how she'd break the horrifying news to James. 

Thinking about this had done a great job at distracting her from thinking of her mother, and that itself was good enough for her old self to return. 

Although she was more terrified of who he'd direct his anger to than how she'd break the news.

Of course, a major part of her knew that James might be calm about it, since he knew Emma wouldn't let it happen, but his jealousy was uncontrollable when it came to Emma being around any guy he didn't trust or wasn't related to her. 

This possessiveness of his was what caused most guys that wanted Emma to themselves to rethink their decisions and stay a safe distance away.
