One of the things that was illegal and an offence in South Korea was to watch porn or read porn or other explicit sexual content. There are governing bodies for adult clubs and other 'adult' life activities, but they have serious policies, too.
Still, there are approved sources for the 'adult' life, but their content is highly censored. And sometimes, it never shares accurate information, despite having to go through censorship.
It was a thin line that controlled everything regarding explicit and sexual activities. It extended to even reading a few pieces of information regarding sex life. Even though South Korea was a little open to a conservative society, they were not that broad-minded to accept BDSM. The taboo around it made it difficult to find reliable sources to read about without fearing any problem.
