"Good thing you decided not to start a company, Kim Shin. A good businessman knows when to retreat and accept the defeat temporarily. Being stubborn would only cause loss." Kang Chin Mae looked at Kim Shin with mocking eyes. His words stunned everyone seated at the table.
Sunny was angry, but she was scared to say anything.
Moon Chin Hae knew the nature of his twin. Even then, he did not expect a cheap shot like that.
Kang Chin Mae's word hit both Young Jae and Kim Shin hard. It was brutal. They were already at the end of hope, and hearing they were not fit for the world of business literally crushed any last bit of wish to hold on to their dream. Moon Young Jae dropped his head down in shame and hopelessness.
On the other hand, Kim Shin looked like a chicken with ruffled feathers ready to fight tooth for a tooth. "Is it coming from the experience?" He snapped at Kang Chin Mae.
Kang Chin Mae leaned back on his chair and said a word that "Yes!"

Confession:
I was so close to dropping the novel today. I was happy before the afternoon with how much I was typing for the story. I proudly told a friend that I typed almost 1700 words in less than three hours for the story. She started to criticise me for focusing on the novel more than my research. I tried to reason with her as I was waiting for my supervisor's feedback and just utilising the waiting time with something I love. She was not convinced. She even said, 'How did you manage to write that much? Was it just word vomit?'
Those words sting so much, and I was upset the entire afternoon. Could not write a word after that conversation.
But I realised I enjoy what I am doing, and I don't want to abandon it. I accidentally blurted out about my upset mood to my junior. She listened patiently and motivated me. So here is the update! And I dedicate this chapter to her for supporting me!
