Capítulo 35: CHAPTER 35: He Returns

"I'm sorry, Jess" Andrew apologises, the moment we get in the house. His voice is full of guilt and embarrassment yet I can hear hurt too.

I can tell that tonight is as hard to him as it is for me. Though my situation is much worse.

"It's okay" I say, with a neutral tone. "There's nothing to forgive" I add. As I try my best to not meet his eyes.

I can't bear to look at his face and stare deep into his eyes without remembering who he is and who his brother is.

Especially that they look alike in a crazy way.

If they stand beside each other you will automatically realise that they're siblings, it is obvious to me now.

Yet I couldn't see it for more than a year until I saw them together, until I saw him again after six years of not seeing him nor hearing from him.

I have to say that a part of me always wanted to see him again even for a split second, just to make sure that he is real and that it wasn't my imagination.
