Looking at the familiar village gate, Akira sighed in disappointment as the whole way the weather had been rainy.
"Haah...." Fuyo, who was carrying him, took deep breaths and said, "Sensei, now where to go?"
"Well, let's go to my home. We'll head to the research institute afterward. Suiren, you submit the report. Make sure to personally hand the scroll to Konan. If someone asks, say it's an S-level mission report." Akira handed her the report he had written on the way. Suiren took it and ran toward the mission hall.
"Sensei, shouldn't we go to the hospital first?" Fuyo asked while walking.
"Nope! The only one that can fix me up is Rei. She is a little crazy, so don't let her do a body check on you. But her abilities are top-notch," Akira explained while concentrating on the notification from his system.

Akira looked at the notification. He thought about all the possible questions and started considering, 'Maybe it's related to Naruto world knowledge. No, I defeated a Pokémon user, so maybe it will ask a question related to that. Maybe it will ask who the hottest girl in Pokémon is and it might gift her to me. Of course, I'm going to answer Cynthia.'
In the end, his thoughts went nowhere. He readied himself and clicked 'Y'. The question suddenly appeared on the screen:
[What is the coolest Pokémon?]
[Time's Up]
The question was so absurd that Akira couldn't say any name. But the system already got the answer by reading his first thought.

An overwhelming cold chakra flowed through his body. Before he could control this new chakra, he fell unconscious.

With that, the system returned to its own world, but it left behind a very much alive Groudon. It sank its body deeper in the lava to heal and grow enough as a being without a soul but with one mission: Destruction.

Team Shikamaru finished explaining their mission to the current most beautiful and powerful woman in the world, Princess Tsunade Senju.
"So, your team defeated two elites from the Explosion Corps and killed Tsuchikage's student. All three of them were also jinchūriki of unknown tailed beasts. Haah..." She rubbed her forehead. She had just taken the Hokage's post and such a diplomatic mess fell straight on her head. She looked at the three kids in front of her, who looked troubled, and realized how much trouble they had caused. She put on a smile. While the problem was big, she was happy they were all alive and didn't want to burden them.
"You all did a good job. I am proud of you. I am sure our allies in Sunagakure are also happy with your work. Your mission reward will be upgraded to an S-level. You can go now." Her message was clear: you protected an ally from an enemy. That was the summary.
Just after they left, the office gate opened again, and the most useless people in Konoha, her advisors Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane, entered. Behind them, with his own ominous BGM, came the darkness of Konoha: Shimura Danzo.
"Tsunade, what are you doing with the prisoners? I can interrogate them to reveal all their secrets," Danzo complained.
"You should also get ready for Iwa's retaliation. The kids killed Onoki's student; the old man wouldn't take it lying down," Koharu Utatane added.
"That is why, after we understand what happened to them, we will return them to Iwagakure," Tsunade told them her decision.
"You... They hold the secret to everyone getting tailed-beast chakra. You should immediately give them to me," Danzo argued.
"Danzo is right. We might have some skirmishes and may lose some ninjas, but we shouldn't give the prisoners back until we learn everything about this new power," Homura Mitokado supported Danzo.
"No, we don't need the prisoners. We checked their bodies; there was no foreign chakra present. Shizune is doing a deeper scan, but I think the prisoners weren't jinchūriki, as they are still alive. Most probably, since the kid hadn't fought any Elite Jōnin, they might have mistaken them for jinchūriki," Tsunade went to the most logical explanation. Since Team Shikamaru only saw the two prisoners release a chakra coat and not anything else, she thought it to be a new forbidden jutsu that Iwa had developed.
Danzo: "We still can find more info from them."

"Tsunade-sama!" the voice of Shizune interrupted the discussion. She looked around and saw the ongoing conversation. "I am sorry. I will come at a later time."
Tsunade: "No need, come in. Are those the reports on the prisoners?"
"Yes." Shizune handed her the documents. Tsunade read the reports, and after reading, she confirmed her theory. Seeing the report, she could guess how the jutsu worked, and she was confident she could make a similar jutsu with lesser side effects.
"As expected, their chakra pathways are damaged but not fatally. It all but confirms these people were not jinchūriki, so I have decided to use them for peace," Tsunade declared.
"You can't decide that. This will be decided only after we approve it," Homura Mitokado interjected.
Tsunade put her hand on her chin and looked at them. "It doesn't matter what you think. My job is to keep the villagers safe. Anything that isn't aligned with it, I will not accept."
"You can't do that, little girl. We are the Hokage's advisors; our words matter in the decision," Koharu Utatane told her.
"Yes, exactly. You are only advisors; your job is only to advise. The decision rests on me, the Hokage. Obaa-san." Tsunade smirked.
"You... The only reason you are Hokage is because Hiruzen asked. If not for him, you would just be another rogue-nin," Danzo angrily scolded.
"That's enough! Danzo, it's the Hokage you are talking to." A figure suddenly teleported into the room. But no one was surprised because they recognized the voice. He was an old man smoking a pipe, the now supposed to be dead Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi.
"Tsunade has made the decision. Now all that's left is to figure out how to accomplish her vision," Hiruzen told them. The three advisors left, not before Danzo murmured his iconic line, "You will regret it, Hiruzen."
Seeing them leave, Hiruzen took a puff of smoke and spoke, "You should not mind them, Tsunade. They have just not adjusted to your new style of work. That's all."
"Then they should retire," Tsunade said sharply.
"Cough! Cough! Forget about it. But are you sure you don't want to keep the prisoners? I don't think Onoki will sue for peace now that we killed his trump card," Hiruzen Sarutobi warned. He understood Onoki more than her. The Tsuchikage was always jealous of the abundant talent in Konoha. Now that he had one talented kid, and that kid was killed by a group of Konoha ninjas, he would surely be furious.
"Of course, he would. He had one new confirmed jinchūriki that no one knew about. So unless he tells everyone how he did that, nobody will ally with him. Not only that, they will try to get his secret. So surely he will sue for peace." Tsunade confidently sipped her tea.
"Then can you find out how he did get a new jinchūriki?" This was the main reason Hiruzen appeared today. To have a jinchūriki not only needed a chakra beast but also a person who could suppress the beast. The only people who were experts in it were dead. So he guessed Iwa found out how to convert a talented person into a jinchūriki.
"I don't know until I see it myself." Tsunade looked at Shizune. "Is the team for the extraction ready?"
"Yes, the medical team and Team Kurenai are ready.
We are just waiting for Team Guy," Shizune reported.
"What is taking them so long?" Tsunade complained.
"Well..." Shizune could only smile wryly, as she clearly knew why they were late.

**In the Hospital**
Two men wearing green tights were hugging and crying. The younger one could be seen injured, with his leg wrapped in plaster.
"Lee, this will only take a short while to complete this mission. By that time, I am sure you will be healed," Might Guy said while crying.
"Hai! Guy-sensei! Not only will I be healed, but I will also have completed all the exercises I missed during the time I stayed in the hospital," Rock Lee replied while still crying.
"As expected of my student, Leeee!"
"Guy-sensei!"
"Lee"
"Guy-sensei"....
