Deus was fully aware that his father rarely expressed interest in his marriage past the business affair. As a fact, the only times the father-in-law met with his daughter-in-law was on terms of business and that was before she decided Aines would take over the family business instead of her. After the day of the wedding, they did not talk much, let alone actually see each other face to face. Machitís knew that his son did not love Ines.
