Capítulo 94: Never Alone

Jotham found Histoire seated on her bed when he walked through the door that was already opened. He had expected her to still be asleep for at least a half an hour yet she was already awake. She had been staring out the window before she turned her head to face him. The bandage was still placed over the bridge of her nose and was secured by some tape. The surrounding area was red. Luckily the swelling would go down in a few more hours.

"I thought my bad luck would have ended by now," she said as he sat down beside her. She knew that that was not the case and she was yet to receive some happiness for once.

"So did I. Hopefully it won't be long before Lady Luck deems you worthy of some of her passion," he said and she chuckled slightly. Silence fell over them, a very comfortable silence. Even if they did not converse, Jotham was happy to be next to Histoire. He wished the moment would last forever, but that was not exactly possible at the moment.
