And just like that, all hell broke loose. Well, that was quite a figure of speech. But when Margaux gave the signal, I jumped out of the car, which was parked on the outer part of the dock, stealthily grabbing the first of Takahashi's men that was on the lookout.
With night visions, my little crew didn't have to worry about stumbling in the dark. To add, we could clearly spot anyone lurking from around us.
I turned to my comrades.
"Remember what I said; no one is allowed to die," I whisper-shouted before everyone dispersed and spread around.
I was looking forward to joining Margaux. I wanted to have a chance to hit or shoot a bullet towards the man. My father didn't deserve the death he subjected him to.
Although it has always been my mother's fear for him to die while on duty, my father would often reassure her that it would never happen.
