MARGAUX
"You should thank me," Shiro called out from below. I spared him a glance as I hugged my knees while sitting at my favorite spot on top of his rooftop.
"I think you enjoyed watching me lose my cool and cry like a little girl getting her ice cream for the first time. That's enough of a thank you. No?"
He chuckled.
"Come down here. We need to celebrate your last night with me."
I rolled my eyes. He was being dramatic with me moving out and moving in with Kevin.
After I had said my goodbye speech which I had bottled up for a while, and Kevin and I cried our hearts out, it was decided that I stay with him.
I agreed, knowing it was one way we could savor the days we have together. There was an inevitable future looming ahead of us.
Whatever ending it has, I don't want to have any regrets. Plus, on Kevin's insistence, he would feel relieved if I was within his sight rather than continue to stay with Shiro.
