It seemed that provoking Jack was wrong. After causing a stir in the middle of the night at the hotel by asking the hotel staff to change the bed sheets, he then kept the call with Anne via video call. The man did not let Anne turn off their phone call. Anne even had to bring her cell phone to the bathroom. Finally, their conversation ended when Anne's cell phone ran out of power as it was continuously used for video calls all night.

Because of her long chat with Jack until the early hours of the morning, Anne woke up late this morning. Since she already had plans to go to the orphanage again in the morning, she had to cancel her plans because her head hurt. She was sleep deprived, Jack really tortured her last night.

"Do you need a headache reliever, Madam?" a maid asked Anne, as she was massaging her head.

Anne shook her head. "No need, just bring me some warm water."

"Yes Ma'am."
