"Mayday, mayday!" Katie called into the radio hysterically.

She was a pretty good actress at the best of times. Couple that with the nagging fear that Roman might wake up at any moment, her desperate need to depart the yacht immediately and her disgust over the fact that his phone had indeed been in his back pocket when they'd gone into the hot tub and was currently waterlogged, and the rising hysteria within Katie wasn't actually much of an act. After pulling the phone out and trying to turn it on, then double checking to make sure his breathing was regular, she'd dashed to the controls and made sure they were still on course for the mainland.

"This is the coastguard," came a quick, clipped reply over the radio. "What is your emergency?"
