They continued talking with Gio pointing out sights. Sidney didn't really get a sense of being in a different country. France was just like many of the cities in the U.S.

They parked and Gio escorted her across the busy street. "Have you ever had gelato?"

"Just stuff from a carton in a supermarket."

"You're in Europe. You must try our gelato."

He took her to a small café where they got one scoop each of the lemon gelato. He paid as she reached for her wallet and she thanked him in appreciation. He wouldn't take a bite of his until she took her first bite and the moment that the cold tart treat hit her tongue her eyes rolled back in delight.

He grinned happily. "I told you."

"This is so good! Wait, I gotta take a selfie. I want to remember this."

"Here. I'll take a video. Hand me your phone."
