I freaking loved this book! I read it like 3 years ago on Amazon and it just blew my mind. Been looking for a sequel or any of her other works... Eventually I forgot the author name & moved on but this is definitely a reread. I fully recommend this book. I mostly forgot why. But I most connected with the alien. The alien was just a loner & he found another loner & did a lot of messed up things to make it a family. I liked it don't know why but I do. Also had action in it towards the end
I feel immersed in the world built in this novel. the main characters are complex and unpredictable. she really humanizes her protagonist well.
This work was interesting and exciting. It kept my attention throughout the story development. You captured the perspectives of each character so well I could see the struggles and strengths in such a relatable way to real life.
