Imani's heart rate elevated when Lucas grabbed the knot which held her robe together because she was naked beneath it and he slowly loosened the knot. He parted the robe like he was unwrapping a precious gift before flicking it off her shoulders, exposing her completely, and she inhaled sharply.

Lucas remained silent as he lifted himself up on his elbows and she could feel his body vibrating beneath hers. He suddenly extended his hand to the side of the bed and pressed a button that made the curtains covering the floor to ceiling window on the left fully open, bathing the room in moonlight.
