Capítulo 74: Wild Encounter
soon it was time to leave again they had thirty minutes left
the two hours went by so quickly "mom I will find a way to come see you again ok so don't worry"
"ill miss, you, I'm so sorry," Ieona said
"stop apologizing," Sienna said softly "listen to me mom" she looked into her eyes holding onto her hands
"I really want you to stop feeling bad about what happened it was not your fault I do not blame you and I turned out alright I'm just fine mom,
I'm so happy with my mate and my band members, they are my family now and you and Ziya and Miyong are included in that, and you're going to be just fine mom I swear" sienna breathed
she nodded in response stroking her face with her hands "I love you so much sweetheart, please
believe that when I am stronger once more I will let you see that I will make it all up to you"
sienna hugged her mother
"you don't have to do anything," Sienna said "I know it's ok mom just get better and take care of Ziya focus on that well let Miyong take care of you, and do what the doctor says, take care of yourself ok"
"I will live for both of my beautiful special daughters I will get better for both of you Ziya deserves a healthy mother and you as well
I am so thankful so proud of you too," Ieona said hugging her "so very proud you have no idea I am so happy you are talented and able to make your own way in life"
sienna nodded "you can use Ziyas holo pc to contact me and you can watch us on the star streams too I made sure you guys all have accounts on our channel
and on our server, I am covering the bill for all the kid's devices so Miyong doesnt have to worry about it use it as you like calling me often if there is anything you need or Ziya does let me know"
"I will" she replied "I will call every day" she promised
"good" sienna said kissing her moms forehead
"Ziya sweety your big sis will miss you too sweety" sienna kissed her sister's sweet face and petted her head and ears hearing her cute giggles and babbling voice they took loads of pictures with the children and their parents preparing for their leaving
"Sienna, I want to give you a gift" Quin cried running to her he was holding a container in his hand with some dirt and grass in it
"What is this?" Sienna asked in surprise
"its a piece of Huassain you can take back with you to remember us," He said "it has Huassain dirt and Huassain grass and I watered it for you so it will grow well" he explained
sienna was touched by his cute gesture "aww quin thats so sweet" sienna breathed "thank you" she said accepting it from him giving him a hug
"if you wanted to give Sienna a present like this you should have asked me," Daisuke said smiling "It's a good idea I would help you get her something prettier," Daisuke said "wait a minute" he suddenly left the tent
"Daisuke!" sienna cried going after him "where are you going don't run off its almost time to leave" she cried in shock seeing Daisuke taking off at a lope on his all fours
she had never seen him run like this before he was so fast he soon disappeared into the wilderness
"what's going on ?" Aunty Ae asked joining her outside the tent hearing her cries of alarm
"Daisuke has run off by himself what to do?" she asked her worried "what if he doesn't come back in time?"
"Yerick! Daisuke has run into the wild can you go after him?" she yelled for her husband
he came striding out of the tent to join them "its almost time for them to leave how could he run off? why did he go?" he asked concerned
"This!" sienna said holding up the container "Quin wanted to give me a gift Daisuke
said he could get something prettier but this is enough just a piece of huassain soil can be meaningful too he doesnt have to go out there!"
"is it dangerous for him to go out there?" she asked worriedly
"if he encounters any wild ones it could be," Eric said
"ah what are we going to do?" Sienna fretted
Daisuke soon found what he was looking for a red huassain wild lily flower growing beneath a tree on the edge of the woods
he bent to dig it out with his claws when his sense alerted him and he heard a soft growl looking around in
surprise nearby hidden in some bushes
a wild beast-man sat on his haunches watching him curiously furry black ears a black bushy tail and thick black fur
covered his arms and legs he was wearing a pair of dirty denim shorts he had a human face with long gray hair
falling down on either side of his face down his bare muscular chest and abdomen his face held wizened wrinkles and a stick of grass was sticking out of his mouth while he slowly chewed the other end of it
"crap" Daisuke breathed freezing on the spot the beast-man started sniffing the air then he took the grass from his mouth and stuck it behind his ear"
"you want that?" he growled softly pointing at the flower
Daisuke was stunned he could talk
"yes" he replied in disbelief
he nodded his head
"your mate?" he asked
"yes" Daisuke replied
"I smell mate good" he replied
he got up and lumbered over to him on all fours nudging him over with a paw
he then began to dig out the flower for him showing
him the flower had a base that was on the ground he had to dig the entire base of the flower out and uproot it
if Daisuke had continued to dig the way he planned he would have killed the lily
digging out its plant bed the besat man passed the full plant with its root dangling beneath to him carefully
"mate happy good," he said nodding to him
"thank you" Daisuke breathed in wonder
"go!" he told him pointing in the direction Daisuke had come and turned and lumbered away disappeared back into the woods
Daisuke quickly hurried back the way he had come hardly able to believe what just happen to him
"Daisuke where did you run off? oh my gosh what if something had happened to you?" Sienna cried in relief seeing him return
"Daisuke are you alright?" Uncle Eric asked
Daisuke grinned nodding "look I got it! help me plant it quickly," he requested they hurried back into the tent quickly finding
a random container and filling it with soil should suffice as a plant pot until they got back to Prylea
"my goodness Daisuke you ran out into the wilderness you scared your mate" Mizuno admonished him as he joined them
"what if you had met a wild one?"
"I did," Daisuke said replied with a smile
"what? where? is it nearby?" Mizuno asked
"it's ok," Daisuke said "he's gone about his way I thought he would attack me
but he just asked me if I wanted to get the flower for my mate"
"he could talk?" Uncle Eric asked in surprise
"yea he could!" Daisuke replied "it was quite amazing"
"he said he could smell sienna and that she was a good one he told me to make her happy and he dug this out for me," he said holding the now potted plant
"I almost damaged it but he knew how to dig out the entire plant safely"
"Daisuke!" Mizuno said in shock "what is it?" Daisuke asked chuckling at his grandfather's expression of shock
"beast-men don't just appear and have friendly conversations like that they are wild they are dangerous and can seriously harm you"
"What did this one look like?" he asked
"well we didn't have a conversation like that" Daisuke said
"his speech was very simple as if he only knows how to say a few words,
but we could understand each other with gestures, and he didn't, seems aggressive
just like a furry old man out having a stroll in the morning and I happened to cross his path, he looked human
wearing denim shorts well built muscular body he moved on his all fours, took his time walking like he wasn't worried about anything,
he had furry black canine ears, a big black fluffy tail, and fur on his arms and legs and claws I didn't see any fangs, so possibly non-alpha or maybe he lost them somehow, he was chewing grass in his mouth like he was just chilling" he chuckled
"but his hair was gray and very long hung down his chest seemed like he was very old brown eyes wrinkled face you could see his age, but his body is still strong, well built like he could be very strong, I am guessing if he stood up he would be taller than me, but he was just choosing not to he didn't feel like he wanted to dominate me or chase me off " he finished
"We have heard about that one before, you're, not the first person to have met him," Uncle Eric said
"he seems to live in the territory around the dome but we haven't been able to find him
every now and again he will appear randomly to people who come outside the dome"
"Has he ever harmed anyone?" Sienna asked
"harmed? that old beast-man is something of a hero to our people," Uncle Eric said
"There are stories of people getting lost out here and that beast-man would find them and guide them back to the dome safely,
there was even a story about how someone was attacked by a wild animal and he appeared in time and chased the animal off saving their life"
"There are legends that the old one is actually a Huassain god or some kind of spirit, some stories date back hundreds of years," Mizuno said, "We think there can't possibly be a Huassain on the planet that old even with our life spans he should have died by now but the descriptions of him that people give when they encounter him never changes
he has black fur ears and tail long gray hair and wears denim shorts unless he has something special
in his genetics that extends his life, we don't know that because when we go out and search for him after sightings
we can never seem to find him and one would think a beast-man with long gray hair that old wearing shorts are very distinctive enough most of the time the wild ones don't wear clothing after a while they would outgrow it or it would be destroyed by the rough living out there clothing wouldn't last very long so where he is getting the clothes from?
but he vanishes so we have no means of being able to take samples of his DNA for a study like we can with other beast men and now you're saying he can speak and communicate as well, this just gives us more questions about him"
"a spirit could not dig this plant out of the ground for me this is enough evidence that he's real enough," Daisuke said
"I think he just minds his own business unless he encounters something he can't ignore and chooses to show himself I didn't even know he was nearby until he made a sound and let me sense him
so I think he must have really unique genetics that allows him the ability to go undetected when he wants to be he can easily vanish in the bush if you don't bother him then he won't bother you "
"well I'm grateful he didn't do anything to you don't ever do that again do you hear me?" sienna said
"I don't care how pretty the flower is, it's not my mate don't put yourself in danger just for something like this ok," she said anxiously
Daisuke sensing her real concern for him "I won't I'm sorry for scaring you" he pressed a kiss to her forehead
"look it's finished and it looks lovely," he said lifting the plant pot for her to see it was placed in a transparent bag and tied at the top to secure it for easy carrying by the staff
"you can put it in our bedroom I know you like flowers that why I got it for you," he said
"thank you" she sighed accepting it "I swear you just took ten years off my life but thank you it's beautiful" she kissed his cheek "and you went through the trouble to get it so I will cherish it I'm grateful"
"sorry" he apologized again putting an arm around her going her warm squeeze
soon sienna and Daisuke were soon walking back across the field hand in hand in the company of Mizuno aunty Ae and uncle Eric
sienna holding the flower pot in a transparent bag
"it was wonderful to meet you both" Eric said shaking their hands one last time "Daisuke think about what we said carefully" he added
"you don't have to feel so pressured about accepting a huge responsibility of a planet on your shoulders, thats what we are here for,
we are always going to support you in whatever endeavors you think are a good idea we are willing to hear your thoughts and work with you to make them possible"
"this entire family will" aunty Ae added
"whatever small thing you can recommend will be of great contribution to our world if it can have a positive result for us"
"i will consider it carefully," Daisuke said
"you both should Sienna will be our princess in the future" she added gently
sienna flushed "well call me sometimes I won't mind chatting with you about some things," she said
"very good" she replied with a satisfied smile
"safe journeys home both of you," the king said
"thank you goodbye!" they waved goodbye as they
walked back and Sienna and Daisuke stepped into the burnt circle beneath the ship hovering overhead
once they reached the safe distance away the beam of light fired down from the ship
at the center in Prylea, their band members and many more people waited and watched as light filled the beaming tube and the silhouettes of Sienna and Daisuke appeared in the light
as the light faded Sienna and Daisuke stood there
and applause rang out as suddenly many scientist and other people were taking photos and applauding the pair
"whats going on?" sienna wondered confused
Doctor Godina waved at them to come down she was wearing a big happy smile as they came down
from the platform and out of the tube
shaking their hands "it has been a big success Sienna and Daisuke,
we can begin building the space bridge, thank you so much and congratulations truly
everyone Sienna and Daisuke of Silver Shadows are the first people to successfully use my prototype intergalactic space bridge the Silver Starway to travel across space to the
next solar system to the planet of Huassain and also safely returned to Prylea reducing several months of galactic travel by ship down to a few minutes in our day imagine if we could
establish more routes outside of our solar system and build bridges along those routes in space that will allow us to travel back and forth from one solar system to the next freely
it will revolutionize interstellar travel for all
humanoids would be able to travel easily from one planet to the other it would be extremely
convenient for accessing various goods from various planets interstellar trade
faster planetary development for those hard to reach worlds that need help building supplies etc
we can easily expand our Galactic Guardian force across the galaxy ships will be able to deploy law
enforcement officials that much more quickly including medical responders to things like ship accidents
and crashes it will save lives if we can get an immediate response when such incidents happen
having a way to travel across the systems swiftly the endless applications of that will be extremely beneficial to all life in the interstellar age
which is why I am sure our young friends here have not completely understood what
they have helped me achieve today but I want to thank them and give them the credit they
deserve I also want to extend thanks to Galactic Guardians who were willing to provide us the ships and gathering the data needed to map and create the bridge across the systems
and to the government of Huassain for putting their trust in me allowing me the opportunity to participate in the joint endeavor for such a worthy cause truly thank you to Sienna and Daisuke"
"you're very welcome," Daisuke said to everyone "we were very happy to help in whatever small way we could we also are thankful to be part of something so significant at least once, in our lives, we were able to do a good deed to help others who needed it,
and it turns out will be something that will have a lasting impact on the future for many more people it's more than we could have expected or imagined for ourselves to have been able to do in our lives we also thank everyone else involved who made it possible"
they took a few more photos for the scientist and other people before rejoining their band members
"oh my gosh Sienna are you alright?" melody asked hugging her
"I'm fine," Sienna said with a giggle
"yea you just hopped millions of miles across space, hung out on a distant planet for two hours, and came back no big deal right?" Kanna said making everybody laugh
"what was it like girl tell us how are your mom and everything?" Melody asked
"shes fine it was great," sienna said "Huassain is really beautiful and everyone was really nice i even got a beautiful present a flower from Huassain Daisuke even went into the wild and got it for me"
"it's a long story guys, we can talk about the rest at home," Daisuke said "let's get home guys tomorrow"
"We know!" Zane said
