Capítulo 59: Unexpected Stray Kids
sienna, Daisuke, and the band were practicing in the studio the next day it was the end of the week
and the weekend was coming up they had two more days before their first award show
they had rehearsals to attend at the awards show venue during the weekend when sienna heard her phone ring since
Daisuke's frowning at the interruption mid-song "sorry about that, guys two minutes" she grabbed her phone
where it was stored in a charging station built into the wall along with the others in a corner of the room and answered
"hello Sienna Speaking"
"hi hello?" a hesitant female voice said on the line "is this sienna the mate of Prince Daisuke of Huassain? a soft young voice asked
"yes I am?" she replied wondering what was going on
she heard a sob come down the line "please help me!" the girl cried
"my name is Sadeska I am fourteen years old from Huassain
"me and some other Huassain kids were kidnapped by Hunters and was taken away on a ship"
she sobbed in a soft broken voice
"what?" sienna cried
"where are you?" she asked urgently
Daisuke listening to the call with his hearing cocked his head listening much more closely
he could hear the genuinely fear and distress in the child's voice
"I am here on Prylea" she sobbed
"We got out from the cargo hold of the ship and took escape pods we were planning to
use them to fly to the nearest planet and contact the Galactic Guardians to get help
there is a boy in our group who helped us named Rakeem he planned it and we were able to get out
but the Hunters realized we escaped and started chasing us in the ship
so everyone scattered and I don't know where the others are they could all be in big trouble I landed here on Prylea
I looked up Huassain people here on Prylea online and found you guys
the prince of Huassain will help me get home right? I am not making this up! I am in real trouble!
I just want to go home please help me!" she started crying even more
"I am so scared they are going to look for us because we will make them a lot of money I overheard them say so because of our furry ears and tails we are like real exotic animals
please come find me!"
"Listen to me! calm down do you know where on Prylea you are?" Sienna asked
"the communicator in my pod has coordinates" she replied
"okay send me those" sienna instructed her while
Daisuke ended practice joining sienna he turned his phone on and called his cousin
"hello this is Xierien"
"where are you? are you still on Belezon? Daisuke demanded when he answered
"Daisuke? yes, I am what is it?"
"Are you aware some children have been kidnapped from Huassain lately?" Daisuke asked
"so you know about that? yes thats why I am out here originally I'm not on vacation actually"
he replied "we have a possible lead on a private black market auction for the kids on Belezon
we hoped to intercept them during the auction and rescue the kids, then since we don't know
where the hunter's ship is exactly, and we don't have the manpower or ships available, so we cant search the entire system"
"The kids escaped from the ship" Daisuke informed him
"what? how do you know that?" his cousin asked
"one of them landed here on Prylea and called us from the escape pod they used to flee the ship" Daisuke replied
"they escaped and were planning to fly to a nearby planet and get help from the Galactic Guardians, she said the hunters gave chase in their ship so they all scattered
the other kids could be lost in escape pods all over the system by now if not recaptured by the hunters she landed here on Prylea and called us for help
shes on the phone with my mate right now we are going out to get her we have her current coordinates"
"ok you go get her I will contact the Galactic Guardians theres an Agent in charge and I will update him on the situation" Xierien replied "we will look for these kids and rescue them all as soon as possible thank you for reaching out to me"
"its no problem" Daisuke replied "just hurry these kids lives are on the line right now"
"I know where she is!" sienna cried as she pulled on her boots at the door
"I gave her directions to a safe place where we can meet her but we must hurry she landed on the lower level"
"the rest of you guys stay here!" Daisuke said "prepare to receive a guest"
"will do Zane said safe journeys"
"don't get into an accident rushing on the flyway please you two be careful" Melody added
"we will" Sienna promised
they both rushed out of the room and out of the house taking the horizon plane
"Okay give me the coordinates where is she?" Daisuke asked
sienna told him as he keyed in them into the navigation controls
"she landed in a park just off the spaceport theres a cafe nearby I used to hang out at with Piatyn and Becca that I sent her to "
sienna said and Daisuke flew down the flyway as fast as legally possible for the first time he was jumping other vehicles and changing lanes while he flew as they darted down the flyway
"I only hope we get to her before the hunters do we have no idea how close they are" Daisuke breathed
they soon passed the spaceport ad sienna directed him around the
more grimy run down, side of the city in the slum area
they found the park was deserted except for her pod a small white shuttle that had landed among the overgrown bushes and weeds that had taken over the park since it was not maintained
the pod was not meant for long flights in space
but just long enough to get its single passenger to safety in case of an emergency occurred on board the ship it had been housed on
they hurried to the cafe it was a fantasy cafe with a yellow fairy sign on the door
as they walked inside
Daisuke realized it was a place that allowed patrons to buy booths
and then have those booths decorated in whatever fantasy they liked
so the cafe was a weird and entertaining assortment of various fantasies
sienna led him to a booth in the back with a glittering sign above it that read Becca and Paityn Gypsies
it had sparkling blue drapes hung around it that gave the booth privacy preventing others from being able to see inside
and sienna had to draw the drapes back as they stepped inside a table covered with a black
magical looking table cloth and velvet-covered seats
sitting in a corner of the booth a young girl was waiting anxiously inside she had
a curly mop of brown hair and big brown eyes and she was a canine Huassain child with
small furry brown and white pointed ears on top of her head
and a furry brown and white tail curled around her she was clutching it her hands and tears stains on her face
she was wearing the same dirty school uniform she had been kidnapped in her skin was smudged with dirt and scratches
she burst into tears in relief at the sight of them and rushed to sienna immediately who embraced the child in her arms
she was crying noisily "thank you so much for coming to get me"
"thank you for believing me, I didn't know if you would think it was some weird person pulling a prank on you! I was so scared you might not come"
"its ok sweety I believed you from the moment I picked up the phone and heard your voice," Sienna said holding her and stroking her head "it's ok you're safe now"
"where is your communicator?" Daisuke asked
"its right here! I took it out of the pod" she said putting a silver tablet on the table
Daisuke picked it up and began to do something with it
"what are you doing?" Sienna asked
"I'm trying to see if maybe I can somehow" he began
"ah" he cried
and set the tablet on the table to show them it was a full map of the solar system on the screen and there was
small red dots moving on it on various planets and one large dot that was blinking and moving towards Prylea
"I am guessing that the small dots are the other pods holding the other children that are in our system"
Daisuke explained "each pod has an emergency beacon with a frequency that can be tracked look here's yours" he showed her the dot that was located on Prylea
"it's so that those in the pods can be found and rescued but all the pods came from the same ship so your pods are all connected to each other so we can track them with this" he tapped the communicator with his finger
"this big one is the hunter's ship since its the ship your pods belong to so you can track the ship but they can also track you by the beacon frequency on your pods and they are definitely coming here for you they are maybe a few hours away"
"ok so what do we do?" sienna asked putting her arms around the child
"We have to go back to the pod and turn off your beacon so they can't find you" Daisuke replied
"and we have to send this data to the authorities so they can rescue the other kids ok"
"ok" the girl agreed nodding
"okay let's get moving," Daisuke said he quickly sent the data from the tablet to his cousin's phone
that should help him with tracking the kids down and also keep an eye on those bad guys
"come on" Daisuke put a hand on sienna's back as he led them out of the cafe and into the horizon plane
"are you hungry or thirsty or anything like that?" sienna asked her
"starving" Sadeska replied nodded her head
Daisuke's phone rang he answered as they hurried to the horizon plane Sienna helping Sadeska get in and showing her the console and getting her a drink and snack for the time being
he listened to someone on the other end for a few tense minutes "I understand" he replied before hanging up he started the plane and they took off
"We are changing plans," he said
"The authorities have been notified and they received the data I sent they want us to leave the beacon on in your pod since you are very valuable to the hunters, even though you guys escaped they haven't given up tracking you guys
they say the pod can be used as a lure to get them to come here the Planetary Guardians will be there to wait for them and then they will be caught and arrested
so I have to take Sadeska to the Planetary Guardians station because they want the communicator from your pod ok it will help them"
"I got it" Sadeska replied
Daisuke flew them to the large Planetary Guardians station in sector three it was the head station of all the other outpost in the city
"This place is kinda scary" Sadeska gasped clutching onto Sienna's side as they walked through its doors later
it was a very strict and militaristic place
even Sienna felt a little bit nervous it was the kind of place that was so official
that made you feel uncomfortable as if you were about to be in big trouble even though you had not done anything wrong
where everyone was wearing some kind of crisp uniform with the exception of the locals that had come there for whatever reasons
"what do we do?" Sienna asked softly
"hold on," Daisuke said he made a call
"someones coming to meet us shortly let go sit over there" he pointed to where they had seats in a waiting area the three of them sat down
Daisuke checked the communicator the hunter's ship was still coming and the other red dots on the map a few were reading as having landed a few others were still in flight
sienna scanned the area soon spotting an older man with dark hair in a suit wearing a Badge hanging from his suit jacket, was walking towards them flanked by two Planetary Guardians in uniform
she gave Daisuke a nudge with her elbow and he looked up from the communicator
also noticing his approach they got to their feet
"Good Morning I am Galactic Agent Orizen I am in charge of this case and working closely with Xierien your cousin since a few weeks ago"
"I'm Daisuke, this is Sienna my girlfriend and this is Sadeska the child we just rescued"
"hello Sadeska" Agent Orizen offered his hand to her and gently shook her hand
"you are very brave for having flown here all by yourself after escaping"
"thank you" she replied softly "I have the communicator" she passed it to him
"thank you very much, my dear," he said he began to operate it
and quickly making a phone call he stepped away to speak to someone and then returned after a few minutes of conversation
"will you all come with us?" he asked "it's to make sure you guys are safe until everything is over you will all be placed in protective custody"
"can't we take her home with us instead?" Sienna asked
"We live on the second level but we also have our own work going on so we cant go into custody all of a sudden and she needs cleaning up as well she can't stay like this"
the agent looked at Sadeska properly for the first time realizing
what kind of state the child was really in
"then ill send these two officers with you, you are under their protective custody understand?" he said
"yes we got it," Daisuke replied
"I also expect you all will let us do our jobs do not disclose anything about this case to anyone
you will endanger yourselves and the children"
he warned
"We understand Agent Orizen" sienna assured him "we want the children to get safely rescued too
and be cared for until they get reunited with their families back on Huassain"
"safely is our concern, since we have this child in our company now," Daisuke said "we are willing to help however we can"
"I am trusting you, kids, then plus your cousin vouched for you" Agent Orizen replied
"What's your address and can I have your contact information please?"
after exchanging the necessary information with the Agent
they left the station with Sadeska and the two officers in tow
