Capítulo 11: Huassian Things
sienna had a lot of questions on her mind waking up the next morning she sleepily got into the elevator and went downstairs wandering into the kitchen in pajamas
"good morning Kanna, good morning Melody" she greeted both girls
"good morning Sienna" both greeting her with hugs, Kanna put a warm cup of hot chocolate in her hand
while melody guided her to sit down bringing her a plate of food the other two sitting down with their own breakfast in front of them
"so how was your night?" Melody asked brushing back some of her hair behind her ear
"it was great" sienna replied distracted by her own hair color for a moment she was startled by its vibrant color both girls laughed at the startled confused look on her face
"you woke up and forgot you got your hair did yesterday didn't you?" Kanna teased
"I think it's going to take some getting used to" sienna admitted
"good morning ladies!" Zane said coming into the room he came to the table and
dropped a kiss on the top of melody's head
and she hugged him around the waist he moved into the kitchen to put together his own meal
"So what's on the agenda today?" she asked him
"well Daisuke is in the studio working on the production of the song so you won't be seeing him probably all-day"
he replied he brought his breakfast to the table and sat down next to Melody
"We already finished recording live late last night"
"thats, why none of the others are up yet, Daisuke, was a total fiend last night to get everything recorded perfectly the way he wanted it so they are exhausted right now
I think we are ahead of schedule though, maybe we will get to take it easy today"
"if you're going to complain now and it's only one song
what's going to happen when you have to record the entire debut album?" Kanna said
"oh jeez!" he groaned pained putting his head down on the table
"aww poor baby!" melody said with fake sympathy stroking his hair making the other two girls laugh
"work hard we'll get there, the price you must pay to be a successful musician right?" he said lifting his head
all three girls nodded in agreement
he made a pained face again and the three girls burst into laughter
Zane was such a comedian at times
after a lively meal with them, sienna went back to her room the first thing that concerned her
was finding out more about Huassain people, now that she had some time alone she wanted to know about
males in particular she sat down at her computer desk and logged in
entering Huassain males into the search bar
immediately a ton of information came up
she chooses one and opened the page reading information on the origins of Huassain people
they were a race of humanoids descended from animals like most humans and evolved into men
there were three races feline canine and ape-kind however due to the environment on their planet and their slow evolutionary development
their DNA was still considered primitive and still very closely connected to that of their ancestors
causing them to still carry animalistic traits in their bodies
they are generally known for having stronger senses than other humanoids
sight hearing smell touch and taste as well as stronger natural instincts
emotions and behaviors some Huassain people still lived primitive lifestyles on their home planet,
choosing to live in rural undeveloped territories in tribes and villages without modern technology
they are known to exhibit aggressive behavior and can be very dangerous
Huassain people are also physically different from other humans having
abnormal strength speed and reflexes and other abilities that
can be attributed to that of their animal ancestors, some can also have sharp fangs, claws
tails, hair, and even fur on their bodies, that grows much like those of the manes and coats of animals she read
however, one characteristic that makes them unique is their breeding method
which is the reason for their slow evolutionary development
it is very difficult for Huassain male to breed unless they can find a female partner that matches their DNA
this female partner is known as a mate and Huassain males only get one single mate their entire life
once they find their mate they bond with her and stay with her for the rest of their lives,
until the bonded pair dies, breeding and raising their offspring together in families,
once bonded they cannot un-bond because that female partner is the only female on the planet
that carries the DNA that matches that of the male, only together can they procreate and have offspring
if the female or male partner dies before meeting then that particular Huassain will continue their life
alone without ever being able to mate and pass on their DNA to the next generation causing their bloodline to end
a Huassain male identifies his mate first by scent the female mate carries a scent that smells especially attractive to a particular male
once he catches her scent the bonding process will begin between the pair the male will begin to experience feelings of attraction
towards that female, the male cannot experience attraction towards other females because they do not carry special the scent that
causes the bonding process to begin it is a scent that carries the matching DNA
markers to the male and is meant to attract only the female's mate and cannot
be smelled by other males of the species each females scent is unique to herself
sienna gasped as she recalled Daisuke's words she smelled so good and he always wanted to be near her and keep her close to him
she shot up from her chair knocking it to the floor by accident oh my god she breathed in shock
does that mean she was Daisuke's mate?
the only female he could bond with and be with for the rest of his life?
but how was it possible? she didn't have Huassain genes?
then she remembered what Daisuke had said about his parents how his dad had met and bonded with his mom
how they were unique it was the first time a Huassain male had bonded with a human female
plus there were other mixed Huassain couples out there now so it was possible plus Daisuke was not totally Huassain
since his mom was human so he was born half-human after all it stands to reason there would be some things
that would make him different from his own kind
she began to shake she logged out of the computer
and climbed into bed hugging her pillow as the implications and ramifications hit her
she would be with Daisuke for the rest of her life if she got together with him
she would be with him until she died they could never ever break up because bonding was permanent holy shit she gasped
he wasn't like human guys who could fall in and out of love with different females
he could only forever be with her he would never be able to like someone else only her
then that also meant she could also never leave him not even if her feelings changed later
and she didn't like him anymore she would turn out to be the faithless one in their relationship
she wasn't Huassain so the bonding didn't apply to her she was the one who couldn't be trusted
that was why he asked her if he could entrust his heart to her
she felt tears slip down her face she knew she felt attracted to Daisuke now
she did have the beginnings of feelings of liking for him
but could she promise him she would feel like that forever?
