Capítulo 5: She's drugged

Wu Jinyan exhaled and felt relaxed believing someone had come to rescue her. Her vision was blurry due to the effects of the incense but she still noticed the shadows at the entrance.

"You better hand her to us" A cold voice rang in the room.

She didn't see the faces clearly but understood they were there to help her. However, the way those words were presented was like those men were asking to send her to some other man who fancied her more than the man who pinned her down on the bed at the moment.

Wu Jinyan gulped in fear, staring at the two figures at the entrance.

Han Shifeng's heart was bursting with anger. He thought he finally got hold of this beauty but these men had a death wish for them to disturb him at such an exciting time.

His men were guarding outside the room but someone still managed to get inside. Moreover, they dared to speak to him in such a rude manner.

He immediately walked towards the men. Those tall figures were solid and looked as if they had no intentions of moving even an inch away.

"Who do you think you are?" Han Shifeng took one step at a time. He was concerned only about the men and didn't think about the woman behind him as he knew she would automatically lose her senses within the next few seconds.

Wu Jinyan tried to strengthen herself. She needs to do something if she wants to save her innocence and dignity.

The heat in her body was scorching and with a shade of redness overtaking the fairness of her skin, she looked like a cooked shrimp.

Her mind was in a complete haze, she could only rely on her instincts. Without delay, she grabbed whatever her hand could find and threw it ahead.

'Die, you bastard' She used her hand skillfully and with a single strike, a porcelain vase was shattered and with blood flowing from the back of his head, Han Shifeng fell.

She took a deep breath and chose to plead with those men to show some pity on her and save her. She pulled all her remaining strength to keep her mind focused on every aspect.

"P-please.. save me.." Before she could finish her words, she sensed someone approaching her.

She lifted her tiny head only to find sharp eyes on her. She felt like those eyes cast some magical spell on her.

Thump.. thump.. her heart drummed inside her chest loudly.

Those thin, pink lips. They looked so beautiful and striking, she was unaware when she moved her hand towards those lips enticing her soul.

She winced when her wrist felt a cold touch but soon raised her other hand only to sense another wave of that pleasing touch before she could reach those amazing lips. She didn't know what exactly went wrong with her, but that touch felt so good, she wanted more of it.

Wu Jinyan knew her body was craving something unusual but she couldn't help but keep asking for more. Her body was unwilling to lose and wished to feel such a manly touch again and again at any cost.

She looked at both her hands which were held by two strong arms. Those long, slender fingers were well structured and so captivating, that she wished them to visit every nook and cranny of her body in every possible way in and out.

She forgot what she initially intended to say, in contrast, her mind now decided to beg this man to take her away. She was losing control due to his cold touch soothing her heated body.

Her gaze was still on that pair of beautiful lips but soon her surroundings darkened.

Considering his brother would lose his temper, Gu Zihao tried to explain to let him know that her actions were not deliberate. "Big brother, don't be angry. She's possibly drugged.."

But to his surprise, a concerned voice interrupted him "Mom wouldn't mind us bringing a sick woman home, right?"

Gu Zihao's mind was already blown away by the words he heard and in addition, he saw his brother effortlessly carrying the petite unconscious woman in his arms. He was utterly shocked and thought his brother was suffering some side effects because of his injuries. If not, then how could he witness such a scene?

The Gu family doctors checked on Wu Jinyan and gave appropriate treatment.

Shen Xiuzhen was horrified when she saw the young lady who looked like a ripe tomato. Now she was relieved to see Wu Jinyan return to her normal colour. She stood at the bedside and watched Wu Jinyan sleeping peacefully. She couldn't help but sigh thinking if she was lucky enough to have such a beauty as her daughter-in-law.

Gu Cheng stood beside his wife and mumbled in confusion, "Are you sure?! But I think it's impossible?"

"What's there not to be sure? Have you ever seen him bring a woman with him?!" Shen Xiuzhen said as she brought Gu Cheng out of the room and slowly closed the door to the guest room. She didn't want to disturb the sleeping beauty.

"It's different from what you think. She's sick. She was drugged and her condition is not good, so...." Gu Cheng tried to give every other possible reason to stop his wife from spewing nonsense.

"What?! Don't tell me you didn't see how he carried her into the house and how he specifically asked our family doctors to look after her instead of sending her to a hospital. Have you seen him pay much attention to any girl? And you still believe it's not what I think?!" Mother Gu found every reason to back her words.

"Xiuzhen, you are imagining too much. Let me tell you...my son is not a fool like me" Gu Cheng said in a single breath.

"What...?! Are you telling me you regret marrying me?" Shen Xiuzhen promptly understood the hidden meaning in his words.

"What do you think?" Gu Cheng gave a meaningful smile and walked away with his hands behind his back displaying his noble disposition. He loved teasing his little wife.

Shen Xiuzhen glared at her husband's back. It had been decades since they were married and now he was saying he regretted marrying her.

She gave up on her dreams and youth to marry him. How dare he act like she's the one to make his life miserable?

What a joke...!

"Gu Cheng, you...wait there" Shen Xiuzhen chased after him with her fingers balled into fists.
