  Right after Jay saw that he felt a bit weird.

Instead of any increase in energy in his body, he felt as if the large amount of energy that he had, vanished all of a sudden.

It surprised him because he didn't feel secure anymore! It was indeed a weird feeling.

An increase in stats should make him stronger and should have given him a great feeling, but right now the opposite was happening.
