This is one of those easy reading novels that makes you forget about the time. The author did a great job telling the story. As a fan of cultivation novels, I am surprised that I enjoyed this where the female lead has a weak body and did not migrate with a system.😩 Both the main xters are well written. The female lead is smart and shameless.🤣🤣🤣 The poor male lead did not know he was already sold from their first meeting. I hope webnovel picks it.

It’s very promising, love The start so far!! Both ML and FL seem well developed, just wondering if anyone has been able to read all of the story about any mtl’s if this doesn’t get chosen. Hopefully it does get chosen. Please Editor make this the next book that gets updated.

The main character is a Modern woman who transmigrated into another woman body who has the same name as her 'Chi Yue' She's married to the guy but he doesn't like and so he sends her to a temple where she meets a monk who is actually the emperor. The both conceal eachother's identity from eachother and it's only later that they come to find out ( by chapter 60 he's found out that she's his niece-in law...) eachother's true indentities. Really hope this gets chosen cause it's a really well written and layed out plotline and I feel so invested in their relationship that I'm even getting butterflies... Anyway yh i'd really like to read more and I'd recommend that you try reading this as well.

This is a harem story. Read the MTL and dropped it a few hundred chapters in due to the lack of development. FL wants monogamy. ML is married with a harem. He continues to add more women to the garem. She breaks up with him and tries to flirt with a guy who is willing to be monogamous (or at least try), but ML becomes possessive and this leads to a weird segment where ML sleeps with his harem and FL starts searching for a new man. Why I dropped it: FL's guard from emperor thinks she is pregnant with the ML's kid. She is not but this leads to an arc where ML believes she killed his kid chasing another guy, and proceeds to get half his harem pregnant. He comes back to FL after realizing the truth and thenwonders why she is taking contraceptives, cos he believes everyone should be happy to bear the emperors children. She is pragmatic and says she doesn't want to participate in harem intrigue and endanger hey life(rightly so, since her kids also would be in danger in the palace and she didn't want that). I don't see a good way forward for the couple, unless all the other kids and wives magically disappear(that would be bad plot, the babies didn't do anything wrong) or the emperor gives up everything for her(this seems unlikely). Feel like strangling the ML or FL, maybe both of them. Imho, you might like it if you are into this kind of drama. Not my cup of tea.

I love the novel. It has romance, humour, face slap moments, fluffs and action. The sequence of events are tailored intriguingly. The plot is well written and the world back is descriptively developed!

Read the raws(upto180-190)....this shit is pretty annoying....FL is atypical....she cries about ML being a man slut and not wanting to be in a relationship with him for the aforementioned reason but jumps on the first good looking person she finds (Flirts with girls in brothels and honeytraps 4 men under 200 chaps) who verbally promises to be loyal to her for life (not taking concubine & stuff)....she is superficial and a total bitch...no real development in the story even after 180 chaps she just fights and then runs from ML goes to gamble house, brothels honeytraps some men in free time and repeat....Disappointed with this one, not a fan of harem but palace novels are interesting because of all the machinations happening behind the scenes but this one is pretty bland...hopes it doesn't make it to voting pool....my sincere apology to translation team for bashing this novel but i hope and pray you pick a better novel next time.

At first I think it will be interesting book but after I read more I really hate the female lead too much. She is really a lustful woman always seduce man and too much calculating. I don't like she seduce man one after another too easily and involved with many man. It is too hateful and she looks like a woman in a brothel who always want to have a good life with a man. Sometimes I think something is really wrong with her head. She has the ability to survive without the need of a man too take care of but she always wants a man to take care of. I would accept if she really love the man but she is not. I suddenly think that love is not important but she needs a man to pleasure her or something.

(LONG REVIEW) Don't be thrown off by the synopsis, it really doesn't do the novel any justice. It makes it seem like any other transmigration novel out there. Set up: 1. Modern day strong FL in body of weak ancient woman 2. ML (powerful) currently living humble life as a monk next door BUT: 1. *NOT* a cultivation novel, no focus on fighting or training etc. Just enough jump rope to get a healthy body that won't die in the winter. 2. "Weak body" doesn't magically become strong and gets revenge like every other novel ever. FL is MENTALLY STRONG/STREET SMART but still physically weak (docile, need ML protection in the form of shelter, hugs and care). 3. FL x ML have slow burn romance, it slowly builds but it's SO wholesome. Not the "hey I laid my eyes on you, now you're mine!!" For pacing, by 39 ch they are both very much aware of their feelings and openly flirt. The fluff starts very early on, not like the ones where you wait 100 ch for them to be like "ooh what is this feeling" and then another 100 for maybe a kiss. 4. Currently takes place in a TEMPLE. No palace fighting (as of now), no consort ranks, no schemes or poison etc. Just good ol nature and homemade food delivery for fluffy goodness. G-rated flirting, but you can totally tell they like each other. 5. NO OTHER LOVE INTEREST. ML is focused only on FL. And she's bold enough to say that she can't share her man. Boy will be whipped in the future. 6. Great character design and world building. The characters are so fleshed out and the way they react has so much personality. Not like other novels where servants are cared for, but are basically background props in terms of personality. s/o to ML's servant for being best wingman.

the fl is shit nothing but a player who just wants go around and sleep with diff man. she can break time and again ml heart and play with it. she can't bear to share him with wife and concubine but ready to marry xiao guy and handle his concubine than just show urslf to ur real husband and handle his concubine. that's what even proposed the ml. but no she just wants go around and play with man in casino. she's really nothing but a slut. she's for sure getting ml literally easy way.

Hilariously awesome! 🤭😗😘 How do you seduce a (fake) handsome monk? Firstly by pretending to be a very pitiful widow. Secondly by cooking yummy delicious vegetarian food. Read the novel for all the cute antics of our smart adorable sassy Female Lead who is not afraid to go after what she wants. The Male Lead is a bit passive in the beginning. Like to see how he is going to woo and win her over eventually. Hint: marrying her will be quite a tricky affair and I like to see how the story will spin this out. 🥰❤😍❤😘

Superb. Love this novel... Finishes reading 60 chapters in 2hours. Very different story for a rebirth. FL who is Smart, beautiful and sly as nine tailed fox. While the majestic handsome monk as ML. Really love how our FL has been hubby training .. Turning ML to be her one and only devoted man to her. Awesome Please keep as regular novel till end of story
