Capítulo 85: Farewell Bulbasaur (Edited)
One may expect, Axel to be busy with many letters, people, and press conferences after his research goes published. But he was having a normal morning. He was greeted and congratulated by some members of the Venu family on the street, and he received many emails from his well-wishers.
But he had not opened any of them right now. Today was an important day for him. This was the day, he was going to select his Bulbasaur.
"Congratulations Axel, you are finally getting your Bulbasaur today. I don't know when I am going to get one.", said K with a disappointed face.
"Hey, you don't need to worry about it. Just let your Pidgeotto evolve and train it for a bit. You would have your Bulbasaur in no time.", replied Axel patting K's back.
K had already learned Aura. His Aura was more powerful than Axel's. It seemed like he was really good with it. Relating to his Pokemons, Sandshrew had evolved to Sandslash and Pidgey to Pidgeotto.
K now had an uncommon rank Pokemon. But Axel believed that Pidgeotto would be the first one to reach rare rank. It had good potential and was more diligent in its training.
Getting a Bulbasaur was not a big event but it certainly was a rare one. Very few people could unlock their Aura and Psychic ability in their lifetime.
The crazies, Angela, Adam, and Mark went to the Venusaur area in the forest. Many Venusaur, Ivysaur, and Bulbasaur were there lining up in a formation.
Angela went inside a house. The house was a mixture of tree barks, long elongated branches, leaves, and grasses. The house was quite unique and it was the only house in the area.
She went inside the house to talk to a Venusaur. After some time, Axel was called inside.
The house was only 1 storied tall. There was only a single room in the house. It was like a big hall with empty space. There was a big stage (Like the one where people performs or sings). Axel could see 2 Venusaur. Those were the ones whom he had met before. And then he could see at least 30 Bulbasaur in the hall. One of them was even shiny!!
They had an expectant and excited look on its face. Some of them looked like they didn't give a damn. Some of them gave an arrogant feeling to Axel.
These were the group of Bulbasaur who was ready to go on a journey.
Angela said, "Axel, these are the Bulbasaur who are ready to go on the journey. You are expected to spend an entire day with all of them and get to know them and then select 1 Bulbasaur for your party. Do remember, the Pokemon should also approve to be with you.
This is an old tradition of the Venusaur family. You must be connected with your Bulbasaur, otherwise, it is a no go."
But Axel just looked at those Bulbasaur and pointed out one of them "I want that Bulbasaur."
Angela said, "Axel you are supposed to spend some time with them and select one wisely."
"But I have already met with this one on a quest and have already decided to catch it."
That was the same Bulbasaur that Axel and the group had rescued when they were fighting with Mankey's group.
The Bulbasaur came forward towards Axel and Axel knelt down to meet its height.
"Hey buddy, how are you?"
"Bulba.." it said as if saying it was doing fine.
"Do you want to come with me? I am going to go out and we would explore the world.", Axel said looking into its eyes. Axel had expected some resistance but the Bulbasaur immediately said "Bulba.. Bulbasaur" by jumping in joy.
It had approved Axel to be its trainer. Bulbasaur had quite a good impression of Axel and he was one of the few humans that it had known except for Angela and some elders.
One of the other conditions was to get the approval of Bulbasaur's parents but Angela had said that she would handle this case. So, Axel was not worried about it.
After approval from both parties, it was now decided that Axel would get Bulbasaur. After 3 months Axel had finally completed all the conditions and got his Bulbasaur. He was over the moon. His happiness could not be described in words.
As per tradition, all the Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Venusaur would hold a huge party tonight. This was a farewell party for Bulbasaur. It would leave its family to explore the world.

The next day,
Axel could not care less about anything right now. He was getting his 6th Pokemon today. He could not catch Bulbasaur yesterday cause it would celebrate its farewell party at night. This was a party to which none of them were invited. It was only for Bulbasaur and its evolution line.
Axel was now in the same hall where he was yesterday. But the Pokemons and humans who were here today were many more than yesterday.
As per the tradition, a ceremony would be held where the Bulbasaur's parents and its leader would officially hand over Bulbasaur to Axel's care. Most of Bulbasaur's relatives, friends, and family were there.
On Axel's side, there were the 3 brothers, all the elders, and the leader Angela.
It seemed like marriage was going to happen. The Bulbasaur line took this ceremony very seriously.
On the stage, Bulbasaur's parents were on the side, and Bulbasaur and Axel were in the middle.
This was important for Axel too. This was the first time he would see a Champion-ranked Pokemon.
Slowly a door opened and a big Venusaur came into view. It slowly walked towards the stage. This Venusaur was massive compared to any normal-sized one. It was almost double their size.
Axel had expected to feel huge pressure from the Pokemon, but it was just the opposite. Even with his 'Aura Sense', he could not sense anything powerful. It just looked like a normal Pokemon.
After going up to the stage it spoke.
"Hello everyone, humans and my dear family, I am happy to announce that one of our members would be going on his adventure from today. ....."
Venusaur gave a long speech which was 15 minutes long and at last, he said, "….. Now, from this day, I formally announce Bulbasaur a Pokemon of Axel Blaze!."
