That morning, Yu Feng was browsing through some documents that Lu Zheng Yang had sent to her when she noticed that Chu Yi who was standing beside her had suddenly retreated.

As she lifted her head, her husband's charming face appeared before her. In his hand, he was holding a familiar box. Yu Feng quickly recognized that this box was from a famous pastry shop in the city.

"You're back." With a smile, Yu Feng stood up, walked around the table, and reached his side.

"Hmm..." Qin Zhi Hao wrapped his free hand around her waist to pull her closer. He pressed her lips into a kiss before he slowly let her go. "I bought your favorite pastries on my way home."

Yu Feng took the box from him and placed it on the table. Then, habitually, she helped him to take off the cloak around his shoulder.

The couple has been married for a month and Yu Feng was slowly getting used to this new role as his wife.

"You're home early. Did the meeting ended early?"
