Inviting him to have lunch together?

Qin Zhi Hao wanted to laugh when he heard this excuse.

His relationship with the Empress has always been natural. Because he would spend most of his time on the northern border, Qin Zhi Hao did not have many intersections with the Empress. 

The only time he would meet her was the time when he was summoned home to attend some country's event. 

Each time that he ran into the Empress, they would exchange a few polite words before they separate in their own ways.

The Empress had never invited him to her palace to have lunch together. This was the first time.

Qin Zhi Hao followed as the maidservant led him to the Empress's palace.

He had entered the palace early in the morning and hope that he would be able to discuss some matters with the Emperor as soon as he had finished his meeting with the court. He did not expect that once he entered the palace, the Empress's maidservant would be waiting for him.
