Capítulo 68: Worst fears

"Madam, did you ask for me?" Samantha queried when she saw Susanne walk towards her, concern evident on her face. 

"Samantha, dear, how are you?" Susanne observed the girl, trying to make sure that she was fine. Though she looked perfect, she knew that the girl was not. Seeing the King had shaken her, and Susanne knew that this was just the beginning of her anguish. The King was here to take her with him, and Samantha had to go even if she did not wish to.

"I am fine, Madam. I apologize for my behavior back then." Samantha bowed before her mistress, and Susanne shook her head.

"That is fine, dear. It was not intentional. I forgive you for it." Susanne held the girl's hand and pulled her with her gently, confusing her. "Sit beside me, Samantha." She prompted, taking a seat on the bed.
