Capítulo 1542: Training Space

By the time the golden light dissipated, Hao Xuan and Nae Shin found themselves standing face to face in a grey void surrounded by fog on all sides.

'???'

Hao Xuan looked around warily. Both of them had been moved to this empty space with their physical bodies intact so it couldn't be a spiritual connection.

'I didn't sense anything nefarious either. What is this place?' he wondered.

"Woah! It worked!" Nae Shin exclaimed excitedly while looking around, prompting a raised eyebrow from Hao Xuan.

"You know where we are?"

His head bobbed up and down passionately, "Un! It's a gift from the master!"

"A gift? He told you that?"

Nae Shin scratched his chin thoughtfully, "Kind of? He didn't talk to me directly but it was still him!"

'He must have conversed with a tendril of his Will,' Hao Xuan concluded, 'That's a good sign. As long as it wasn't him in person I should be safe.'

He relaxed considerably knowing that.

"Alright then, what is this place? Why are we here?"
