Capítulo 2: Chapter 1
"Aiyana Grey!"
The loud voice of Mr Arizona boomed through the walls of the classroom, snapping Aiyana out of her sleep.
"Yes sir"
"May I know what motivates you to go to sleep in my lecture, especially occupying the first bench?"
"Sir. I...”
"Did I ask you to speak?"
Aiyana shook her head to gesture no.
"Good! Now, tell me about Orlando’s predicament with his brother?"
"Orlando Bloom? Mr Arizona, he is an actor… I am not sure if he has a brother but I am sure a quick search would give me all the tabloid stories about whatever his predicament is."
Aiyana enjoyed as she watched the pink skin turn to a bright shade of red. Taking immense pleasure in watching the stoic grey eyes almost change colour with anger. His cheeks huffed and he clenched his jaw, enhancing that jawline that Aiyana loved to watch.
There was just something about Sky Noah Arizona that Aiyana found herself drawn to the moment he walked through the twin entry doors of this classroom. Noticing then for the first time would she later realise to his ritual of resting his large hand on the frosty glass door, each finger leaving the shadow of a promise as he drew in a breath, preparing for the torture of another day of being a teacher before swinging the door open. Always to be greeted by the frowns of his male students and overtly excited faces of the women.
Sky always thought it to be pathetic, the way women reacted to his face. Making him draw to the conclusion that women were shallow and not worth looking at as more than a bother. All the while being aware that there was nothing wrong with women and that objectively they were not shallow even if a few reacted to the way he looked. Knowing all this was, was him being bitter.
At the young age of twenty eight Sky was far more frustrated in life than even nature could permit, but nothing seemed to help him.
No amount of psychiatrists or women managed to do so. The perpetual frown that Aiyana always noticed and enjoyed turning that frown into a hard set of anger. Something about the anger always made Aiyana feel alive. To her, the deep timber of sky’s voice that dropped a few octaves every time he was anger seemed to be like Mozart’s Requiem. Something ever so dark with the edge of danger and the promise of sex. His anger exciting her more than any man's hands ever could. Sky was her pleasure.
Sky was her sin.
Her very own grey fantasy.
"Miss Grey!" He continued to emphasize.
"Does it look like I have idiot written on my face?"
Her long eyelashes fluttered provocatively, as she pronounces the next sentence, in a manner most innocuous.
"I would not tell you if you did sir. There would have been no fun in that"
"Humour me then miss!"
"Sir... there is no idiot written from where I can tell, unless... I mean no sir. No idiot that I can tell of. But you may go check for yourself if you don't believe me and are that conscious about it."
"I believe you then have to attend a special class after your lectures and today"
“Do special classes mean me laid out on your desk bent over with cheeks blazing red?”
"Do you have no respect? I am your teacher for Christ’s sake stop flirting with me just so you can try and rile me up. It will not work. And understand this Miss Gray this is your last warning. This incessant need for attention has been forgiven long enough the next time you make sexual innuendoes in my classroom you will be sent to the principal and I will kick you out of my program for good! And the special class is called detention.”
