Though barricading the entrance does help a bit, it does not stop their ferocious pursuers from practically smashing the doors into pieces.

Anastasia ends up stumbling backward and dropping on the floor in great shock and disbelief. She didn't expect that they would be so strong that it's mind-boggling. Earlier, she had taken note that they still didn't have this much physical strength, and that all they're really good at was running.

Their other senses weren't even working that properly as well. It's almost as if they're rapidly evolving into a much more aggressive and fiercer type of predators, which is everything a bad news is.

"Anastasia, are you alright?!" Lucien frantically asked from behind her before holding both of sides of her arms and helping her regain her bearings.

"Lucien?! What are you doing...?!" Anastasia bolted out, nonplussed and a bit angry.

"What are you thinking running all the way back here-"
