In the past two months, I and Patrick became good friends. It was 4:00 p.m I came to the cafe at the regular time and saw Regie cleaning the tables and Patrick in the kitchen.

Regie: Hai Shin.

"Regie, I thought you would go home?"

Regie: Nah, I would be bored if I go home.

"Marcus isn't home?"

Regie: He went to meet his parents'

"Why didn't you go? It's good to see your in-laws."

Regie: I feel insecure there, they agreed to our marriage but they still think I'm not good enough for their son, his mum's good, but his father is still the same.

He said rolling his eyes.

"What about Marcus?"

Regie: He's okkay with everything, even my parents love him more than me. I hate that.

"Come he's their son-in-law, of course, they'll love him."

Regie: I wish that was the same in my case too.

"It takes time."

Regie: It's been 2 years since we were married. How long will he take?
