Capítulo 2: 2 Finding The Sorcerer
It was her! The stranger who told me that I can find the sorcerer here in school. I run towards her and she was so stunned for some reason. Without prolonging anything, I asked her directly.
"Tell me more about the sorcerer."
"Sorcerer? When did I tell you about something so stupid?"
"You told me once, I can't remember the exact date and time but you told me that I can find the sorcerer here!"
She laughed in disbelief and looked at me like I'm some crazy weirdo.
"There's no such thing as sorcery in this world."
For a moment, I stared at her face confused and zoning out. I clearly remember her face. There is now way I would have mistaken her for someone else. She is exactly the girl who told me that piece of information. Then, the realization dawned on me. This girl was under the spell of the sorcerer in that moment. That beast is playing with me. He is misleading me and wants me to lose the chase.
"I should go and don't talk about that sorcery thing again, you'll look crazy. "
She walked away. I don't look crazy because I am really crazy. After this game I should kill myself, there's no point in living this world anyway.
I sighed. It would have been great to die right now but death can't give me peace. Not until I claim my revenge and not without knowing what's the reason why that beast killed my family and spared my life. But still, "he", assuming he is a boy, he's killing me slowly right now for giving me this hide-and-seek game. Too bad for me because I am the seeker despite him being more powerful than me. I know that he is having the best time of his life and he is enjoying this so much. If this is what he wants then I should give it to him.
"Sorcerer?"
I was startled when a boy approached me.
"I can see her right now."
"She? She's a girl? Where is she? Tell me, where is she?"
"Right in front of me."
I looked in my back, in my sides but it's only the two of us standing here.
He laughed amusedly and apparently he is referring to me that I am the sorcerer. My hand turned into a fist and ready to punch but I know that the sorcerer is controlling him right now.
"Follow me."
The boy walked and I followed him, he's heading to the apartment so I stopped.
"I can kill you if you ever think of entering that apartment."
I warned the boy but he kept on walking. I realized what the sorcerer wants now. She controlled every person I killed. SHE WANTS ME TO KILL.
"Listen to me boy. Stop there! Or I'll kill you right now!"
"I'll die if I stop walking."
The sorcerer is so cruel! Because of her these hands of mine deserves to be cut. No, not only my hands but my whole body deserves to be burned forever. The people I murdered does not deserve their death. They did nothing wrong.
"Aghhhh!"
I screamed when a metal hit me, I touched my head and saw blood in my hands. The boy smirked.
"Listen boy, I will not fight you. You shouldn't let that beast control you. Think, focus and break out from the spell. That is not you!"
"Oh! Really?"
He threw another metal at me and this time I dodged from it but he attack me with a kick, straight to my stomach. I fell down, he sat on my chest and he started throwing strong and painful punches to my face. I tried to block his punches with my two hands but it's so difficult especially I'm underneath him. I tried to kick his back but I can't reach it. My hands is starting to get tired from blocking his fists, then he hit me on my face with force which cause my surroundings to turn all black. He stood up and stepped hard on my stomach. I growled in pain then he twisted my arm wanting to break my bones into pieces.
"S-stop! Stop it, n-now!..."
I heard the cracking of my bones and he freed me then he run inside the apartment. I felt alarmed when I remembered that there are knives inside, I tried to stand up and luckily I succeed.
"Ssshhhiiiit!"
I growled again in pain because of my arm. I supported it using my other arm and I run inside the apartment. He was so busy finding something and I slowly walked in where I put the all knives, making sure he was unaware of what I was doing. I got startled when he turned and his eyes turned red seeing me still alive and moving. I hurriedly went in to grab the knives but he pushed the chair and hit my knee in the process but I didn't pay attention to the pain. All I could think about in my racing mind is that I need a knife. Limping, with a broken arm that needs support wasn't enough for him. He pushed another chair and another till I lost count but I endured the pain hitting my body repeatedly. My knees feel weak and I can feel my vision slowly fading but with all that I have, I stayed conscious. At this point, I am actually thankful for the pain because it's the only thing keeping me awake. He is annoyed with how I'm keeping up with everything. I tried grabbing a knife again as fast as I can seeing that he is ready to attack me once more and luckily, I was able to picked up a knife.
"Sshhiii..!"
Growling in pain, I removed the hand supporting my injured arm to prepare throwing the knife at him. He smirked when he saw me struggling. He looks so sure of himself and I can clearly see the triumph in his eyes as he picked up a massive steel on the floor. But if he thinks he can kill me with that, he got another thing coming. I threw the knife straight to his eyes before he can attack me, BULLSEYE! shouted my mind when it hit him where I wanted and knocked him down. He was cursing and groaning in pain, shouting profanities at me. I picked two more knives and I walked towards him still limping.
"This will be the last."
