Capítulo 104: Another Ophilia?

After they returned from training, Sian was the first to enter the mansion, and in the living room, the first person he encountered was Ophi. Just as he was ready to jump up, hug and kiss her, he noticed that she looked strangely anxious.

With a second glance, he noticed that in the room, sitting in front of her, were the elf, Lin and another girl. This girl was the same one they saw cleaning Sian's study room when they arrived.

It was precisely this girl who seemed to be the focus of Ophi's anxiety, since she was looking at her intensely. The girl, in turn, also seemed anxious while keeping a low look on her face.

"What happened?" Sian asked.

Although he asked normally, the girl cowered on the couch. As for Ophi, she seemed at a loss for words.

With Lin appearing to be the only one who was behaving normally, Sian threw her an inquisitive look.

Understanding his intentions, Lin immediately gave him an explanation.

"It turns out that among the girls who live here, there is one with the same name as your wife, her name is also Ophilia."

"Really?" Sian was surprised by this fact, since he didn't know that.

Although there were many girls on his land, he never bothered to communicate with all of them. The only ones he took the trouble to remember their names were the ones that were close to him.

"Yes," Lin affirmed. "You should already know, don't you? I remember that Milka made sure to introduce all of us to you when we got here."

"I have no memories of that."

"I didn't introduce them to you just once," Milka, who was coming through the door, said.

"Well, to tell you the truth, besides the fact that I'm not good with names, I almost always ignore the things you say or do."

Sian then turned to Lin and continued, "But that aside, what's wrong with them having the same name?"

Getting back to the main point, Lin said that when she went to tend the garden, Ophi accompanied her to help. As usual, Ophilia who lived there also went to help her tend the garden.

Knowing that both had the same name, Lin introduced them. As they talked for a while, Ophi apologized for Sian's manner. Knowing that the girls there were mostly afraid of him, she tried to improve his image. She said that he was now a new person and asked them to give him a chance and get to know him better.

Due to their friendly personalities, the two Ophilia's were getting along super well and started to get to know each other better. Ophi even told her that, just like Ophilia, she had also once been a slave and then Sian freed her from this miserable fate.

But then, coincidences began to emerge in the stories of the two. They were both part of the Edrorian kingdom, the marquisate they lived in was the same, and-

"Getting to this point, I don't think I should be the one to continue," Lin said.

Going over to Ophi, Sian crouched down in front of her and held her hands, "What's going on?"

"I, I think we are sisters..." she replied with a trembling voice.

Surprised by her words, Sian asked, "Are you sure?"

"Our parents have the same name," she said. "Even our siblings have the same name."

Despite Ophi's trembling voice, Sian knew it was out of happiness. Even though she had said she didn't want to meet her relatives at the moment, she was happy that they were alive.

"But what made me sure was not that." Ophi continued, "She told me that her name was a tribute to her older sister, who was captured while sacrificing herself to help her family escape from slave hunters."

Turning to the girl named Ophilia, Sian asked gruffly, "Hey, is that true?"

Although Sian had no ill intentions, due to his manner, the younger Ophilia cringed evem more on the couch.

"Don't be rude, master," Milka stood between him and the young Ophilia. "If you shout like that, it will only make her more afraid of you."

"But I just-"

"Don't be a dumbhead."

Striking Sian's head lightly with her fist, Illianna interrupted him.

"If you continue in this manner, I will be forced to give you new lessons in how to communicate properly with people."

Without the slightest intention of suffering through one of Illianna's boring lectures, Sian took a step back.

"My bad, I got too anxious."

Looking at young Ophilia who was standing behind Milka, he asked, "Is your name really a tribute to your older sister?"

Nodding her head, she said, "N-not long after they escaped from the slave hunters, Mama had me prematurely and I received my name in honor to my sister, who sacrificed herself for us."

Remembering that Ophi had been captured fifteen years ago, Sian asked, "How old are you?"

Avoiding eye contact with Sian, she replied, "I'm fifteen."

Hearing this, what little doubt Sian had was dispelled. Although there is no way to confirm exactly whether they are sisters or not, the younger Ophilia's story fit exactly with Ophi's.

"That's a good coincidence, don't you think?" Illianna smiled at Sian.

By this time, it was already a fact that good 'coincidences' were constantly happening around Sian. However, this was already at the point where it could no longer be called a coincidence.

Ignoring the events for the moment, Sian stared at Ophi's sister intensely, which seemed to be making her uncomfortable.

"What are you doing?" Illianna asked.

"Nothing, it's just that looking closely, they are really very similar." Turning to Ophi, he said, "Can you sit next to her?"

Standing up silently, Ophi did as Sian was asked and sat down beside Ophilia. When one stood next to the other in like that, their resemblance became very evident.

"It's like she's a young version of Ophi," Sian said in admiration.

"I, I'm still not ready to find my parents," placing her hand on her sister's shoulder, Ophi continued, "But if the possibility exists, I would like to take my sister back to our parents. Dear, are you still willing to look for my parents?"

"That will be the first thing I will do when we get back to the hotel," Sian stated.

Since he needed more information to conduct a search, he asked for some basic information to narrow down the search area within Edrorian. Things like the names of his relatives and the town where they lived, however, a small problem came up.

"I'm afraid Barehorn no longer exists," Illianna said.

"Are you sure?" Sian asked.

"That's what I heard from a merchant who went to the hotel," she said. "He said that this town was recently abandoned. Apparently, the soil around there was not fertile and they had many surrounding dangers."

"Well, it doesn't really matter." Turning to Ophi, Sian continued, "Rest assured, when we get back I'll find a way to find your parents."

"Thank you, dear," Ophi jumped into his arms.
