"Damon!"

He came inside like it was the best place for a guy to be. 

A fucking women's washroom. 

"I had been trying to catch you since last night."

A faint memory of me leaving as I hyperventilated about Xavier ending it. 

Ending us. 

Ending himself. 

Ending me by ending his life. 

Like I wasn't just doing something similar to that right now. I was still hyperventilating. But this time, it wasn't because of fear, but guilt. 

But Damon will know. Won't he?

Isn't he Xavier's guardian angel? Can't he save Nicole now?

After all he gives life to people, doesn't he?

I left the sink and almost sprinted toward him. My palms tightly gripped his shoulders and I shook him. The tears that had one stopped, started again. 

I had cried today more than I had cried in the past month. 

The month I had spent with Xavier.
