Capítulo 13: Chapter 12 (New)
In the end, Tyene agreed to his request of bringing him to Water Gardens. However, they couldn't just go out like that. Alexander suggested the idea of sneaking out on a day where both the security and attention wouldn't be focused on them but on somebody else. Thus, both decided to sneak out from Sunspear the same day their aunt, Mellario gave birth to Trystane.
-Time skip.
On the same day his cousin was born, Alexander and Tyene together with William and his team left towards Water Gardens and arrived pretty fast compared to what Alexander expected. Once in Water Gardens, Alexander was again surprised and amazed by how beautiful the buildings in this world were. Pale pink marbles paved the gardens and courtyards. Terraces overlooking the numerous pools and fountains, shaded by blood orange trees. In other words, the place was extremely beautiful in Alexander's opinion.
On the other hand, for Tyene this sight was so common for her that she didn't even bother looking around. Instead, what she was looking at now was her brother's expression. Seeing Alexander's sparkling eyes and expression was more than enough to make her smile. Such a view where her brother acted like a child was rare, extremely rare. For this reason, seeing him acting like a child was something that made her extremely happy.
Tyene held Alexander's hand to guide him. Action that created a cute and sweet view where Alexander watched the surroundings and Tyene watched him. Even though it wouldn't mean anything to other people, this little act or event was something that she would keep dearly in her memories until her last day as this was the first time Tyene and Alexander acted like what they were, a younger brother and an elder sister.
The siblings' act continued for a while until both arrived at the doors of Arianne's room. Once entering, Alexander saw Arianne who was sitting on a chair next to a wood table. Arianne had olive skin, large dark eyes, and long, thick black hair which fell in ringlets to the middle of her back, and even though the little girl was pudgy and flat-chested, something that was expected from a 10-year-old girl. Even now it was visible that the girl was destined to become an astounding beauty.
Alexander saw how the moment Arianne saw Tyene, the little pudgy girl's face turned into one of pure joy and surprise. Something that was expected as unlike before, this time Tyene visited without any prior notice.
"Tyene?! Why are you here?"
Asked Arianne surprised by the sudden apparition of her cousin.
"Hello, Arianne! I just wanted to surprise you!"
Responded Tyene lying to her.
"Surprise?"
Asked Arianne confused by her cousin's words.
"Yes! Look who I brought this time!"
Said Tyene pushing Alexander forwards so Arianne can take a good look at him. Upon seeing Alexander, Arianne's reaction was one of surprise, then one of joy, and finally her whole expression changed into a serious one.
"How?"
Arianne said to Tyene with a serious tone.
"I brought him secretly"
Tyene walked towards Arianne and whispered in her ear. To what Arianne reacted shocked, however her shocked face disappeared instantly.
"Well, how uncle Oberyn says, what is done is done"
Arianne said while laughing at the situation. Arianne looked at Alexander and like Tyene the first thing she did was squeeze his cheeks. Getting his cheeks squeezed Alexander didn't react or do something as he was used to this kind of treatment from her sisters.
After this first interaction between the two of them, Alexander knew that his fate was sealed. Tyene and Arianne kept playing with Alexander treating him like their favorite toy. At first, they just tried to play with him with some toys that Arianne had in her room, however, this escalated quickly. After seeing his androgynous and cute face of Alexander, she and Tyene forced him to wear a dress and ordered an artist to paint him.
However, Alexander didn't get angry at all. Yes, it was humiliating, but he was an adult on the inside. He wasn't going to get angry with just that much.
The next day early in the morning, before Tyene or Arianne woke up, Alexander left Water Gardens. Unlike Sunspear, Water Garden didn't have any kind of order or instructions to watch him. For this reason, leaving was as easy as betraying Ned Stark.
William and his team at first tried to stop his little Lord, but after seeing Alexander's struggle and cry, they decided to just follow their lord. Once on the outside, Alexander, and everyone else rode on a horse.
"William, you know, my father told me stories about his sister and how she liked to often come to Water Garden. So, I was wondering if you knew a place where I can be alone?"
Feigning ignorance Alexander asked William who just nodded his head with a look of sadness and sorrow in response. This didn't escape Alexander's attention, but he decided to pretend as if he didn't hear anything and just asked William to lead the way.
Alexander POV-
After traveling for a while, we arrived at the entrance of a cave on a beach shore.
"William, I know that it is late to ask this, but how did you know about this place?"
I asked with curiosity. I mean even if he came often to Water Gardens, it is unlikely for him to know such a secluded place. After hearing my question, even though William couldn't speak thanks to me teaching them how to write, William started writing on the sand.
'Your aunt came here to cry when she felt sad because of her husband.'
Hearing his response, I just fell into silence. I know that she wasn't my real mother, and I really didn't know her in person. However, after years of hearing stories about her from Oberyn, I grew fond of her. After hearing all the stories, I realized how beautiful of a person she was. And it just pissed me off how unjust was this world with such a gentle person.
First, even though she gets married to the man she loved, the fucker decides to just cheat on her. Next, even though she did nothing wrong she was raped and killed. And now I come to know about this...
I wonder how many times she came here to cry... I wonder how hard was for her to feel the sadness of not being loved by the person you love... I-I just wonder how hard was for her to be raped and see her own children get killed in front of her without being able to do anything...
I just gritted my teeth and clenched my fists, I know, I really know that it was stupid feeling like this for a person I never met in person. However, I just couldn't help to feel this way.
Taking a deep breath I calmed down, and finally realize that William and everyone were looking at me worried.
"Let's go inside"
I said with a fake smile trying to make them forget about the moments before. After this, William and company first checked the insides of the cave.
Once inside I saw how beautiful the place was. The insides were full of bioluminescent plankton and flora.
"William, please watch that nobody comes in, and get into position to protect me."
I said with a serious face, shocking everyone with him. However, none of them questioned his Lord's command and immediately got into position.
"And please I would like if all of you to keep what I am going to do a secret."
With these words, I proceeded to get ready to do something that I wanted to do for years. I know that some people may say that telling or showing them about my unique ability is stupid.
However, I don't know if what I am going to summon is going to be hostile or not. And, if William or the others wanted to betray me, they would have done so when I was a baby.
'System, summon a common grade summoning'
A red circle with symbols and runes appeared on the floor, and soon a smoke screen appeared. A few seconds later, I heard a male's voice.
"Is this Valhalla?"
Even though I knew the language wasn't in any of the languages that I knew, somehow, I was still able to understand it perfectly.
The smoke was gone, and what I saw was a pair of blue eyes that were so shiny that almost looked as if they were shining in the dark. The owner of these eyes was laying down, he was tall, his hair was in braids, and he was wearing leather armor. However, the most special of his characteristics was the forearm crutch that he was holding.
Characteristics that I recognized in an instant, characteristics that were of a certain TV show character, Ivar the boneless.
"No, it is not."
While walking toward him I said.
"Is that so..."
With a shaking and sad voice, Ivar said.
"Haha... I knew it..."
Said Ivar. After those words, Ivar shut his eyes and covered his face with his arm, and soon I heard drops falling on the ground. I saw how the merciless and cruel Ivar was crying, I saw how the grip of the hand that was holding the crutch got stronger. However, what grabbed my attention the most was how he bit his lips in frustration.
'I can use this.'
"Hey, Ivar, I know that you are sad that you didn't go to Valhalla."
"However, this is somewhere better you know?"
I said while looking at Ivar.
"Tell me something, do you really want to go to Valhalla with those deeds worthy of only a mortal? Do you want to go to Valhalla in that crippled state?"
I said increasing my voice little by little. Hearing my words Ivar stopped crying and instead looked at me with a frustrated, and infuriated look.
'Well, it is obvious that this will happen. I mean, I'm basically making fun of him and his deeds.'
"Ivar, do you really want to go to Valhalla like that? Do you really want to go there in such a state where people will still take pity on you?"
I said tempting and trying Ivar to react.
"Wh-"
Ivar raised his voice however before he could say something, I interrupted him.
"Ivar, I'm giving you a chance. Here you can achieve deeds bigger than what any mortal could achieve! Here you can actually carve your name in history!"
"In this world, there are names that are still remembered even after thousands of years!"
"Here, there are creatures from Hel, monsters, and even dragons!"
"Tell me who will be your equal if you go to Valhalla after seeing, fighting, and even killing such beings?"
"Your father, brother, ancestors, and even the fucking gods themselves will have to hang their head in shame on your presence."
"After all, who can say or even brag that they fought such beings? Whom of your brothers could say that they killed such beings?"
"NONE!"
I said as my voice unconsciously raised even more to the point where I was almost shouting.
"Ivar, here you actually have the chance of fixing your legs. However, I can't promise anything. But don't you at least want to try if it is possible?"
I said while stretching my hand towards him.
