Capítulo 186: "Discovering the Unexpected Allies"

"But it's late, and going to Makylee would be more than two hours. Are you sure?"

Lia nodded. 

"Okay. I will call for my driver to bring you later."

The two opened the television and switched to the movies channel. With Dr. Logan holding the remote, he had chosen a channel wherein there were no news updates, because they might show something bad about D.M. Cadre, and the old man didn't know how to explain it to her.

Minutes later, Lia was done eating. As soon as Dr. Logan entered the bathroom, she just shouted, "Goodbye grandpa, I'll go now!" then bringing the plastic bag she hastily went out of the condo unit.

When the old man got out of the bathroom, he directly went to his bedroom, and felt that even though the air conditioning unit was activated, the room felt strangely warmer. With careful steps, he walked around.

The first thing he noticed was the printer. It was turned on.
