Capítulo 21: Especially You

Hansol continued talking about the documents as they walked back to the imperial palace.

"That is enough talk for now; just make the corrections and hand them over to me, so I can review and sign them." He demanded as he sat behind the imperial desk.

As he began reading over other documents on his desk, Hansol nervously glanced over to the emperor.

"Hansol?"

"..Yes, your Majesty?"

"I know the change is sudden, and I recently had the child moved to the golden palace. However, after a long thought, I should have followed thought with this plan from the beginning. I need another order to be done. In regards to the child." Xavier said as he reviewed the documents in his hand.

Hansol raised his left eyebrow in confusion.

"Pardon, your Majesty? I do not seem to understand." Hansol replied.

"I want you to move the princess to the emerald palace. She is too far away from my palace. Also, make sure in the emerald palace, you hire more gardeners. After a quick observation, the garden needs upkeep. I want the emerald garden to be filled with flowers… Are you writing this down?"

Hansol quickly grabbed a calligraphy pen and paper.

"Is that all, your Majesty?"

Xavier leaned back in his chair and fixed his focus on the golden globe in front of him.

"Arrange evening dinners at the imperial dinner room with me, and the princess from now on. Also, get a scholar for every subject and an etiquette teacher. I cannot have her spilling things so carelessly in front of others like today."

Hansol's head raised up.

"Okay, I have everything written…"

"Have the royal painter come in tomorrow for her portrait. It is only normal for a child of her age to have one hanging in their palace." Xavier interrupted as he stood up for a glass of wine.

Hansol smiled and nodded. He could not believe the sudden change in character.

"Do you feel alright, Your Majesty?" Hansol asked.

Xavier raised his eyebrow in confusion. He leaned against his desk as he sipped his wine glass.

"Oh, perhaps you are referring to the moment you slipped something into my teapot, assuming I was not paying attention?" Xavier glanced up at Hansol with a slight smirk.

"I did drink a bit of it, just to spark my curiosity. The fact that you also slipped the same concoction into the child's tea is considered treason. Were you trying to kill us, Hansol?" Xavier placed his hand underneath his chin as his elbow laid on the chair's armrest.

Hansol's eyes grew twice in size.

"I...beg your pardon, Your Majesty?" He stuttered.

"Is old age getting to you, Hansol? I didn't say anything. Are you alright?" Xavier questioned with a concerned face.

Hansol opened his mouth slightly and placed his hand over hand mouth as he sighed lightly.

"My apologies. I did not sleep well last night. Then, may I be excused to give this list to Marina? She needs to get started on the move, correct? I will find a good professor and etiquette teacher for the princess."

Xavier nodded as he drank his wine.

Hansol bowed and left the imperial office.

"Ezra, we need to discuss some important matters!" Let's meet at the training headquarters! I am on my way there!' scream Hansol in Ezra's head.

"Idiots. Every single one of them. Fine, I will play your little games. Once I get bored with this joke, I will dispose of all of you. Including you, little witch. Especially you."

Xavier smirked as he saw Hansol run outside the window. He chugged his wine and filled himself another glass.
