Gu Yuyao lay on the hospital bed, trying to get some rest but failing. She watched with amusement as her husband held their baby, whom she had fought hard to bring into the world. Her husband obviously couldn't contain his happiness over the birth of their child, always following him with his gaze whether she was feeding their baby or when their son slept on the bassinet that was set next to her bed. 

Even she couldn't believe that she would end up having a family with him after over a decade of separation. However, she had to admit that she was moved over the fact that He Lianchen hadn't given up on her and waited for her return, even when knowing that it was uncertain. 

"Yaoyao, I already called Grandpa, but he said he still has commitments, so he would be here the earliest tomorrow," He Lianchen informed her with a smile. "He couldn't wait to see our baby."
