The great goddess Narmduk had blessed two little fishes, thanks to their beautiful mating music. Music that she had fallen in love with. The two little fishes, with the blessing of the goddess, evolved, and thus became man-like creatures.
The wings that sprouted from their backs were evidence of the goddess' blessing. They were thus the first of their kind.
Others were blessed, just as they had been.
However, they were the strongest out of all of the blessed. Their power over manipulation of water was stronger, and they were able to manipulate anything that had water in it.
