Capítulo 2: The Pills

The rest of the day goes by uneventful. Clients coming and going. Mr. Hanson and Mr. Gordon goes to court and back. Finally, it's time to go home. It's a short walk home. You feel the icy air against your skin. Christmas lights turn the streets into a fairy tale.

Just before you enter your apartment, your phone starts to ring. You reach for your phone to see who it is, but you already know. It's your Dad, he phones every day at the same time.

"Hey Dad"

"Hey, Tiger Lilly. How's my favorite daughter doing?" Your Dad is a pharmacologist and he's the best in his field. Ever since your Mom died, he's been dedicating himself to his work and his lab has become his second home.

"I'm your only daughter, Dad. It was a busy day, but you know me, I enjoy my work. Any miracles happened yet?"

"You're still my favorite. No miracles yet but I'm very close. I'll get my breakthrough, just wait and see."
