"Morning, Damon!" I wished him cheerfully as I entered the kitchen where he was making breakfast.

"Morning angel!" He wished back with a bigger smile than mine.

I rolled my eyes at the nickname.

"Why do you call me that?" I asked as I sat on one of the stools that we have in the kitchen.

"When I was small our mo.. mother used to tell me stories of angels to put me to sleep. She used to say angels have glowing faces that can bring a smile to your face on the gloomiest day. Just looking at her, you will feel happiness blooming inside you. Everything will be colorful around you and at the hospital when you looked at me with your beautiful eyes for the first time, I got the similar feelings of happiness and colourfulness. You are my angel of happiness."
