Capítulo 189: Best Friends

One Week Later. 

Bella had tried her best to stay away from Dan in order to give him enough time to prepare for his father's funeral, as well as to mourn his father. They had both also agreed that neither of them would use their rings until he was settled and until they have returned to his house. So her ring was just hanging on her neck as the pendant of an expensive gold necklace he had had Zach deliver to her within the week. 

She spent the whole of the week at the restaurant with Ben, attending to customers since Dan was yet to resume work at the office. Luckily for her, her parents hadn't questioned her much on why she was at home since they believed it was her boss' husband who had died, and as such, her boss needed some time alone.
