Capítulo 38: Indifference.

Immediately after Dan said goodnight and left for his bedroom, Bella quickly took out her phone to call Joan. Earlier at Richie's home, she had rejected Joan's call and had used the time to check out Dan Williams' movies and songs on google. 

She had gone as far as memorizing some lyrics so she could recite them if possible. On her way back to the room, she had overheard snippets of their conversation she wasn't willing to think about yet.

Bella rummaged through her luggage box and took out Ben's headset, which she had stolen from the house before leaving earlier. She connected it to her phone before dialing Joan's number. She needed to talk to her. 

"I thought you would never call," Joan said excitedly when she took the call.

"I'm sorry, I was really busy," Bella said as she rolled over from one end of the bed to the other. Her bed here was much bigger than that of her parents at home, talk more of hers.
